Was here with a colleague for dinner after work. I ordered the chicken fried steak, he had the ribeye. My food was ok, though it was probably the smallest chicken fried steak Ive ever seen. His ribeye was well-done and tasteless, but was ordered as medium rare. He didnt eat most of it. Fried okra was good though! I never got my dinner roll.
Delighted to find this place for lunch, having crawled around 2 previous towns with recommended restaurants either closed or non-existent.
Nice homely place, friendly atmosphere, efficient and charming waitress. Extensive menu. Chicken fried steak and patty melt were both excellent and arrived promptly. And very good value.
