I came looking for authentic Mexican food — what I got was overpriced, poorly made, and completely unrecognizable. Cold, stale tortillas, flavorless meat, and a series of wrong orders made it clear: this place has no idea what real Mexican food is.
Service was disorganized, no one checked in, and the atmosphere was unwelcoming. The “Code of Respect” on the wall doesn’t reflect the reality here — especially not from the front-of-house staff.
If you value true Mexican cuisine, skip this place. It’s not authentic, and it’s not worth your time or money.

Excellent authentic food and the staff were so friendly. The atmosphere was hot and cramped. I would definitely our out though.

I love santi breakfast burritos,you are lucky to have this place in sterling. People who don't like their green chili are loco. However the credit card machine never works for me there and it has caused me to have to wait a long time to get my food. Also the restaurant is way to small. That place sells 1000 burritos a day come on open a bigger place ,and get a new credit card machine!!!! The burrito is excellent!!!

Really tasty burritos. Love the salsa. Burritos aren't as big as they used to be, unfortunately, but I guess shrink-flation is happening everywhere so what do I expect.

Little place with good Mexican food. My smothered burrito was full of meat and served as fast as a fast food place. Staff were easy going.

We moved out of Colorado a year ago, yet we are not too far from Sterling. I think it's a little shocking for Santiago's in Sterling when I ask for three quarts of 1/2 & 1/2 green chili to go. I water bath can 4 pints and use the rest for homemade breakfast burritos or top off some good eats I make at home watching Cooking Con Claudia on YouTube. I'm glad it's not illegal to take it into another state. I might get arrested for possession with intent to sell. 😁😅😂

Over priced. Food was bland. Service sucked. Don't go there to dine in it was hotter inside than outside.

The consistently delicious offerings are highly appreciated. The breakfast burritos, available with a range of heat levels (mild, half mild/half hot, and hot), are a particular favorite. We regularly purchase a small cup of their sauce to complement our takeout orders. We have enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. We are frequent patrons when visiting from Tulsa.

Got there right when they opened and they had breakfast burritos hot and ready to go before I even ordered....it was a quick and a pleasant experience with great customer service and the breakfast burritos are always delicious 🤤 the only suggestion I have for Santiago's is more parking and seating options 🙂
