Terrible..
I stopped by to pick up lunch which I have several times at this location and requested grilled onions to be added to my burger. Today the lady that was taking my order told me they don't grill onions for burgers I mentioned they have always done it before she said I don't know who done it but they shouldn't have. I told her to have a good day and left. First Sonic in my life that has ever said that. Restaurants wonder why they are struggling well start with customer service or it only gets worse. Smh!!!
Honestly great place if you get the guy serving you but old lady, she’s grumpy as hell can’t even ask a simple question without her degrading. Good food though and if that guy is working I’ll definitely be going in. Sorry for who ever has to work with the grandma

The bathroom was locked and out of order. We ordered 2 small chocolate shakes one medium chocolate shake and one medium strawberry shake . We received one medium chocolate shake and one small chocolate shake. It took a while to straighten the order out.

The staff are lazy and rude. They take attitude and refuse to try to give any sort of true customer service. It takes over 20 minutes for a single meal to be completed, with no explanation, they give attitude when taking food to cars. The younger female who works here has NO work ethic, ignores customers and gives massive amounts of attitude to doordash drivers. Speaking of doordash drivers, Sonic cusses them out and NEVER has their food ready on time, often taking an additional 20-30 minutes over the guaranteed ready time to prepare food. When asked when food will be ready, they will cuss you out and refuse to tell you, and have even threatened doordash drivers and their customers who order through doordash with retaliation when asked to do their jobs correctly. The manager is rude, aggressive, and has no care for how she or her workers are perceived by the customers and clientele. I have not wanted to leave a review, even though I've been upset with this establishment for months now, and I have feared retaliation by the staff, but I cannot stand by when they cuss out my elderly mother for asking how much longer food will be after she'd already been waiting more than 20 minutes past the "ready by" time. The store needs a massive overhaul of staff because it does NOT meet Sonic standards, or if it does then Sonic standards have gone WAY down as well - because I used to work for sonic and I know their standards.

I have never had a worse experience as I have when I went here and I would give a negative rating if I could. 3 days later I'm still fuming and I only left my chat with the manager to avoid getting physical. I was discriminated against and harassed to the point I should contact a lawyer from the moment I arrived.
I was harassed from the moment I parked, where I am LEGALLY PERMITTED to be parked, in a handicapped spot, and it escalated to an employee puffing his chest and yelling at me as an initial incident response to a seperate issue. I even offer an alternative to avoid the initial harassment but was told "that (walking the parking lot and validating my claim of "got it") is not my job, and I have work to do". He has an entry level position, and when I was entry level (or now a member of senior level of management) I would be fired (or call for the firing) if someone (or me) told a customer "that's not my job" when it reasonably would be. I should have brought that up to the manager, but I didn't. Reason I didn't was the manager insisted on controlling the conversation, and I ultimatly didn't care at the time... not my problem.
I ordered a number 10, 3 piece with a strawberry limeade and paid with a $20 bill. My total was $11.65 of I remember correctly, at least I was handed bills and 35 cents as best I recall. I would post a picture of my receipt to validate my visit but it was illegible when I took it out of my pocket.
I created a Gmail account to post this because I feel the employee in question and the manager as well have an axe to grind against people who are part of the same various demographics I belong to. Especially when the manager told me that her neighbors in my demographic have threatened her life due to her demographic.
Parking: Don't go here if you have a handicapped plate!

Definitely the best Fast food in sterling! Workers are Clean, Fast and very friendly. I ordered the biggest order for my family and got to enjoy it with them on a clean patio with them within 10 minutes! Manager was very nice and helpful with payment. If you find yourself wanting fast food sonic is the way to go!

Me and my co-worker came to the location to grab a quick bite as we had a long day of driving and needed a meal. Not only when we got home were we not feeling well but we both got sick with food poisoning because of this. We both got different menu items which we were excited for but now I don’t ever want to go to another sonic again…

Educate your employees on what actually comes on a sandwich, as well as being able to read orders correctly. I ordered 8 Jr Cheeseburgers for my kids, none of them had cheese or pickles, then they added onions as requested but didn't remove ketchup on the two that had requested it.
Then they TOOK the burgers back after making it ALL incorrectly and 'fixed' them, adding cheese and handing them back to us. You could tell that they had been rewrapped multiple times because of the krinkles on wrappers on them and the cheese wasn't melted. However, they still weren't correct because none of them had pickles, as I was told by the employee that 'they don't come with pickles' even though it lists it on the menu.
Overall I've been disappointed by this establishment over and over again. This was just the most grotesque and recent example.

We tried calling but they never answered we wanted to find out if sterling was one of the sonics that had the 99cent burgers
Me and my family loves sonic, we went and got food tonight from there and they were being slow we were waiting for an hour and there was only two cars there me and someone else, I took a bite of the chill cheese corn dog and it tasted weird and gross so me and my family looked at it and it was old and when my daughter was looking at it she smelled a nasty stench from it. So we are not going to eat there ever again at least the one in sterling colorado
