Feeding over 90 people is no small feat, but Andy, Amanda, Tonya, Miranda, and the entire Hot Spot crew handled it flawlessly. From setup to the last bite, everything was top-notch. Absolutely the best green chili I've ever had. It was complex with the perfect amount of spice. They had a fun seasonal drink menu and our waiter was on point. The menu had a lot of options. The owners are good supporters of our schools. I would highly recommend whether for a quick lunch or total evening out.

Food was great! Brisket was awesome! I'll definitely be back. Wish we got the other server that was working though. The server we got couldn't wait to get us out of there since we sat down. Never been given such a weird look after asking what they have to drink after being asked what we would like to drink. The other server working was so kind to everyone. Glad we stopped for the food along our journey.

Drove two hours out to Sterling to take my grandson to dinner to dinner. He's a student at the college there. First two things we tried to order weren't available: brisket and ribs. So we ordered something different. Server was very friendly. We were the only diners there. I told her it was his bd. I told him to pick a dessert. He got Death by Chocolate cake. Food was great. Bill was $80 with tip. Nothing for his bd. I had a salad and he had a beef sandwich with fries. Seems a bit steep. Won't go back.

Amy was fantastic. Greeted us swiftly, grabbed our order just as quickly and check back in with us just enough. Her personality is top notch. Definitely a person I could chat with regularly. Food is priced very well and the Brisket was so tender. Prime Rib sandwich was seasoned perfectly and a great portion size. Have the cornbread, it’s mouth watering. Modern and clean, with a relaxing atmosphere.

I enjoyed the food. I had the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. I thought it was reasonable for the price. I might have to try some of the meats whenever I try this place again! Nice atmosphere and if you like golf that’s definitely a plus too!!!!!!

Great Baby back ribs, 1/2 slab lots of good smoky dry ( sauce on the side) ribs were moist and the tasty. I believe this is one of the best BBQ Smoke Houses in Colorado. If you enjoy a good BBQ I compel you to try @The Hot Spot Smoke House and try their Baby back Ribs. If you BBQ (and your ego can handle it) have a blind taste test yours against their ribs, it will set a new bar for you to strive to achieve.

Ate at the restaurant for our anniversary dinner on Thursday night. Keep in mind, there are few quality dining choices in Sterling and we rarely eat out for that reason. They seemed fairly busy for a week night but maybe there were early Valentine celebrants. The hostess was very pleasant and concerned about a shortage of wait staff so she ended up waiting on us and did a great job. Silverware and glassware was so water spotted that it was off-putting. Food was OK. Hubby's cocktail was OK. My glass of wine was OK. Nothing memorable.

Went looking for BBQ and chose The Hot Spot. Found Tonja to be very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Ordered fried pickles, they were a bit spicy but the homemade ranch dressing balanced that out! Husband chose the brisket sliced brisket sandwich came with a bag of chips. I ordered a slider with a side salad. You too
