Hadn’t been back to this spot since OldC’s closed. They’ve done a great job revamping it, but I also love that I can still see the past, I spent a lot of time at this Old C’s and have fond memories. I will definitely go back and visit the fine folks of Bambei! They have great food, good specials, and I really enjoyed their beer! The staff was also excellent though a tad understaffed, which is understandable these days.

Let me start off by saying I wish this place was closer to my home (Brighton)! I was here last night for a jeep meet up and it's a nice little brewery! The patio was nicely lit and just a great overall atmosphere with trivia night going on. I had a few of the ciders and my husband the mexican lager. We ordered the tots (and I am not a tater tot person) and they were HUGE, crispy and really really good! I almost had to fight my husband for the left overs to take to work the next day. They had plenty of space for all of us and it is definately a kid friendly place. On top of it....it didn't break the bank! Pricing is very fair here. And most importantly...my husband LOVED the urinals made out of kegs...super unique and fun!
Parking: lots of spots on the side & front of the building.

This is a newer spot (only a year old) and has potential, but is a long ways off from hitting the mark. The person who posted a review saying there was only one bartender working and the rest of the staff was just sort of hanging around, hit the nail on the head. The place wasn’t busy at all, but it still took 10 minutes to get a beer, which was largely flavorless (which isn’t a good sign, considering it was an anniversary IPA). The poor bartender apologized profusely and grabbed my beer in between hauling ice, rushing out food and beer orders and handling pick-ups as well. It was still a one-person job (I’ve worked in breweries) but he was overwhelmed while two men, who I can safely assume were the owner and brewmaster, were sitting at a table watching baseball.
The place has the vibe of someone wealthy who decided to buy or start a brewery, or someone who was able to secure a loan, but doesn’t really know the industry. The place has good branding and more merch than it should, a brewhouse that’s much too big and elaborate for what they’re putting out, and beer and atmosphere that haven’t caught up to those aspirations, yet. The burger was decent, even if the fries were overdone. It’s a place that would probably do well 10 years ago before the brewing industry bubble burst, with okay food and average at best beer — perfect for families on weeknights, but not really much there for beer enthusiasts. I’ll check back in a year or so and see if things have gotten better, if they survive what must be wild overhead costs. Best of luck.

Okay... My wife convinced me to get dinner at Bambei Brewery. I believe brewery's generally have over priced low quality food that is mostly of the frozen reheated variety. I was thoroughly impressed with the food here at Bambei! Both my wife and I had audible "wows", and "wait what!?". The food was well priced and the servings were perfect. The quality was on another level. The burger I had was perfect and had the crunch I love. I highly recommend getting food here and will definitely be back with friends.

Had a couple of beers and the smokehouse burger on a Friday evening. The bar was busy but service was fast and food arrived pretty quickly. The burger was great, two patties and bacon cooked perfectly for me - medium well - and the beer was delicious. The staff were attentive and there are lots of screens for sports fans, board games and outdoor seating. Definitely coming back!
