Right when you walk in the while restaurant has a strong sewage smell. The food was inedible. Two people from our party got food poisoning. The waitress was extremely rude. Will never go back. Taco Bell is better. So disappointed.

I've been here 4 times in the last few months. The first two times were great. The last two were subpar. The carnitas are dry, the queso tastes like macaroni cheese, the salsa isn't that great anymore. Idk what changed but I won't be back. Everything is bland. Only thing that's good the last two times was the service and the sprite i ordered. Doesn't matter what time a day i go, there's no one ever there eating.

I will not rate below 3 because we only had drinks, but it was a regrettable experience. $37 for 2 “medium margs”, very, very hot inside the building and smelled like sewage. Uncomfortable and unpleasant vibe. Would not eat here.

We visited Casa Agave and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The salsa had a strange aftertaste, and from that moment, we suspected we might have chosen a better spot. Our waitress seemed disengaged. I ordered steak fajitas, but the meat had an unusual sweet taste. The menu described sides of rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, and pico de gallo. However, the cheese and lettuce were absent. I requested cheese and was charged extra, despite the menu’s wording. When I mentioned this discrepancy, the waitress argued the cheese was on the beans. The handling of the situation left much to be desired. In hindsight, we wished we had gone to Old Santa Fe up the street, which has been more consistent.

The Pina Loca dish tasted straight out of Mexico and enough for two people. It was delicious. The margaritas were very generous and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The menu is extensive with lots of dishes not seen at your typical Mexican restaurant.
