Nice little neighborhood diner type restaurant with limited seating and an outdoor patio. Nice selection of breakfast and brunch items and a limited bar. I had pancakes which had nice vanilla flavor and came with whipped butter. Companion had avocado toast which was one slice of toast with avocado smear and a poached egg and a side of fruit. Other person had one breakfast taco and liked the fresh pico and mild spiciness. Prices were good. Ice tea was good and strong which I love. Service was great and food came quickly. Server checked back several times to refill and we did not feel rushed out when we were sitting after we ate.

This is one of our favorite breakfast spots! Housemade biscuits, housemade jams, and great Elevation coffee. I love the fact I can get a 2 egg omelet so it isn't too much food for me. Everytime we have come we have had nothing but great service and a tasty breakfast.

Menu identical to the popular "Doug's Diners. Over-priced very good "diner" fare.
A standout burger is the "Black Betty".
Huge patty fresh grind, with green chili strips, peanut butter, and yes, blackberry jam. OMG.

We eat here at least twice a month, and have never had anything we didn't love. It can be a little loud but never too loud for a conversation.

If Kyle is working ask for him to be your server.

The food is excellent, but with a backhanded compliment, there is too much of it. My pancake was the size of a dinner plate and my companions meal filled an entire large oval plate. We could have shared her meal and still had some left over.

Too much is too much when no plate is showing and the entire plate is filled with food.

As mentioned, the food was excellent with one exception. I like hash browns shredded thin, fried on both sides and presented thin like perhaps a pancake. Mine were piled in a heap and some pieces were crisp and some not. Plus the potatoes were not very warm. They did replace them twice and the last batch was hot. Bit I'd like them to flatten out the potatoes and crisp them.

The café is very noisy and I'd recommend going mid morning on a weekday.

Summary: Very good food; portions way too large to be appetizing, at least to us, and they need to do hash browns in a different manner with more crispness and browning of more of the potato shreds. A minor point - - shred the potato into thinner pieces.

This is meant to be an upbeat review, and I recognize I have some particular preferences when it comes to hash browns and the food portions. On the flip size, the orange juice is actually real squeezed juice from real oranges. Very unusual and very good!
