First time diners but we certainly will be back. Enormous portions freshly cooked, reasonable prices and phenomenal service (maybe the best we have ever experienced anywhere). What's not to like? Very crowded (but it was Sunday morning) but our party of six was promptly seated and orders taken. The menu offers lots of options. Something for everyone. This place is a winner.
The food was quite good and the service was ok. Really the reason for the three star review is they charge a 3% credit card fee which they don’t tell you about, and then the automated payment handheld includes that and the tax when it calculates your tip percentage. So 20% is closer to 28% all in with the extra fees and tipping on said fees and taxes. This wouldn’t be an issue if our waitress told us there was a fee. But she failed to do so.
Nice little neighborhood diner type restaurant with limited seating and an outdoor patio. Nice selection of breakfast and brunch items and a limited bar. I had pancakes which had nice vanilla flavor and came with whipped butter. Companion had avocado toast which was one slice of toast with avocado smear and a poached egg and a side of fruit. Other person had one breakfast taco and liked the fresh pico and mild spiciness. Prices were good. Ice tea was good and strong which I love....
