The French Onion Soup needed more salt. Service was good. Otherwise, the food lived up to the hype. Overall a good experience, considering they are basically a food stop halfway up the mountain. You have to wait in line to make a reservation but can't ask for a specific time, so it's really first come, first served. That was a little weird.

Very disappointing yesterday with their once delicious onion soup. I don’t know what they are thinking. We each ordered it for our entree and all four orders were a joke. We should have sent them back. We’ve had many times in past years and it was always filling and delicious. Not this time- lit was like a package onion soup mix or worse. Save your $$$$ at $28 per cup!

We didn't purchase any food at this place, and we mainly come for drinks and the view.Before they had a DJ and music was much better, but Eben with just a Playlist it was o.k.I will encourage management to bring back DJ.Also, we didn't enjoy lack of chairs

What an experience! As a foodie, I loved being able to mix my love boarding with an epic lunch. The food was cooked to perfection and the location iconic. 100% recommend as part of the telluride experience.

This is a well sotuated pit stop at the top of Polar Queen Express (lift #5) on Telluride. Only 1 star because they open at 11a, weren't serving food, and the staff couldn't care less... prepair to be ignored. Location Location Location!?!
Best spot on the mountain. Full bar and delicious menu. Make sure you get there early ~11am to get your name down for a table.

Love chilling on the beach at BV, one of the many awesome view spots in Telluride. Grab a beer, and sandwicch from the hut bar and enjoy...DJ on sunny Fridays and Saturdays too season 22-23 at least

This spot used to be one of my favorites on the mountain. A stunning location, great atmosphere and excellent food and beverages. Always pricey but given the location that is expected. My wife and I ate lunch here last week. It was our first trip to Telluride in 2 years. The food was great. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, the menu choices were only half of what they used to be. Prices are all $10 higher for each item. No Rose by the glass? This is a French place! The number of tables is also half, so the place fills up instantly. With less tables and bar seats the atmosphere is not the same. Talking to your neighbors was part the fun. Now you sit isolated with just your lunch party. I'm sorry to say it's not a special place anymore.
