Chop House Restaurant at New Sheridan

We felt specialized in from the moment we walked in. Our waiter, Adam, was attentive and helpful. It was our anniversary, and everyone there made it very special. When we split a salad, they gave us two plates and were able to bring the bacon on the side to my husband (I'm a vegetarian), and though they are mostly a steak house, as a vegetarian I felt very taken care of. Excellent wine list. I love this restaurant for brunch, and now I love it for dinner, too.

Chop House is always good. From the oysters, steak, salmon and their amazing breakfast menu. Always a good choice.

Our dinner was delicious, every dish was amazing. Our server was super, very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list and made great recommendations. The ambiance was classic and loved the playlist, made for a very enjoyable and festive evening. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Just celebrated our 45th Anniversary at the New Sheridan Chop House Restaurant. It was an amazing dinner thanks to our waiter Travers who was fantastic. We started with cocktails and had an opportunity to enjoy them before even discussing the specials on the menu. Our waiter had impeccable timing not rushing but being attentive to all the details. We ordered the wedge salad for an appetizer and the New York strip entree which was cooked to perfection (medium rare) with sides of asparagus and truffle fries. Dessert was key lime pie. Everything was wonderful and provided an enjoyable evening experience. Thanks to the management of the New Sheridan for providing such a great dining establishment.

Waitress was very busy, it took along time for every part of our meal...drinks, ordering, etc we were sat next to an open door and it was very cold, my husband had to put his coat on and did not enjoy the meal because of how cold he was the French onion soup was very bland, we each had a bite and didn't want anymore the salad was fabulous, my mushroom bucatini was great, the filet was not not good meat for being a "steak house" it was chewy with gristle desert was just ok- flourless cake

Have had several meals there for dinner. Food and drinks always perfect as is wait staff. Always a pleasure to be there!

Our dinner & service was wonderful. We were there for our anniversary and that was acknowledged with glasses of bubbly which was a nice touch.

Ian was an amazing waiter. The Maitre d proactively moved us from a booth to a regular table. 3 of us ordered steaks & one had scallops. The food was delicious. We had a bottle of wine & some of the party had martinis.

The most delicious meal and lovely ambiance. The service was exceptional and accommodating. We enjoyed the filet and salmon and both were fantastic. Best meal of our trip.

Great place to eat on the rooftop in telluride. It was great and the jazz festival is going out at the same time

All honesty, the food was good, not amazing. The experience is what gives them 5 stars. The scallop plate with pearled couscous was 5 stars no doubt. Same with the melon bruschetta. The trumpet mushrooms were okay, the lobster mac and cheese was okay. It’s tough with fine dining restaurants because you pay a pretty penny for what might not be that good, my own personal opinion. Nick was great, our waiter. On top of the service, he was friendly, conversational and helpful. Overall great service as well from the staff accommodating my special requests with the wine and flowers. Thank you to the people of the New Sheridan Chophouse.

I came here with a friend for brunch today and was far from impressed. I believe our waiter was also the bartender on the restaurant side, he was always at the bar so I can only assume. He came to our table twice, once for drink orders and once for food. Zero offers for drink refills, zero checking on us. For a $36 burger pre tax and tip, I’d expect much better food and service unfortunately. The food was decent at best. We had great personal recommendations and also read great reviews, but maybe we didn’t “look the part” or something for the lack of attention- regardless, definitely won’t be returning.
