This is best restaurant in Telluride, CO. Every time I visit, either in summer or winter, I make a point to get a reservation (highly recommended for the best tables) for the Chop House. This steak house has exactly what you're looking for, perfectly cut and perfectly cooked steak. But I mixed it up recently and got the salmon and have to say, it was the best piece of salmon I've ever had in my life. The skin was crispy, but the middle was so juicy and flavorful. If you're not a steak fan, this is a great option. The appetizer to get is the mussels. The white wine sauce is INSANE. I asked our server if they give out that recipe so we can try to make it at home, and am super excited to try to make it!! But the thing that makes the Chop House stand head and shoulders above every where else is the service and vibe of the restaurant. It has the perfect amount of elegance, lighting, and windows with beautiful views of the mountains and Main Street. But every person in that building made sure you have a great time. Between the friendly servers, amazing restaurant managers and bar staff, you know you'll be taken care of. Make sure you take care of yourself and loved ones and come to the Chop House!!

OUTSTANDING in every way!! Greeted by the owner upon arrival. Lovely and elegant dining room. Our server Glennis was knowledgeable and friendly and gave some valuable insight to the various items on the cocktail and dinner menu.we found sharing the steak options was a perfect portion with our choice of sides.Mocktail was delicious. Our wine option was excellent. We finished our meal ( every bite!) with a delicious and decadent chocolate dessert. If we had the opportunity for a return dinner we would absolutely put the New Sheridan Chop House at the top of the list.

5/5 for both dinner and brunch. A bit pricey for dinner but well worth it. Best steaks me and my party ever had. The bread pudding and mashed potatoes were also delicious. Brunch was a pleasant surprise. Menu is large and coffee is quite excellent. Decent price for brunch too! We will be back!

Terrible service. Server never came to the table. A group came in after ours and was serviced immediately. We felt negatively judged and unwelcome. We ended up walking out, and no one seemed to care.
A bit overpriced for what it was. The steak was great but a $28 app for 4 tiny pieces of whatever it was, was ridiculous.
