A must place to visit if you are in telluride or close by ,food is the best ,service the best,place is nice and owner and staff best in town ,food and drinks are great,I strongly recommend visiting if you are looking for great mexican food

A must have every time we come to Telluride. Service was quick and food was delicious. The poblano sauce on the enchiladas poblanas was absolutely incredible.

Esperanza is an amazing host and server. I had the Tres Generaciones Margarita...smooth. Enchiladas Racheras for dinner...delicious. There was a very, tasty, cabbage slaw served with the chips before dinner. Highly recommend this place. ??

This was recommended to us by our hotel front desk staff. Wow are we glad we listened to him ! Chips and delicious salsa was served with a spicy cabbage.It was so good . Reminded us of Tulum Mexico. We ordered the combo fajitas, which is enough food two to split. The guacamole is fresh and delicious. Great margaritas. Does not have outside seating , but the food outweighs any outdoor atmosphere

Being from the south I expected Mexican to not taste like what I’m used to. Boy, was I right. My husband and I ordered enchiladas, you could tell they were microwaved… the cheese was still cold and in shredded form. Super super disappointing. Would not recommend and we will not be going back.

Stood at door and waited to be seated for a half hour, were told they would be right with us and never made eye contact or acknowledged after. Just plain rude

We had a group of 5 on a very busy Friday night and Jamie took the best care of us! Drinks and water were consistently refilled, she checked in on us often, and she really made us feel taken care of. All of the meals came out hot and were delicious. It was the perfect atmosphere for a Friday night and I would highly recommend Esperanza’s if you’re ever in Telluride!

Fun, downstairs restaurant in the heart of Telluride. We enjoyed the spirit forward house margaritas and the chips and salsa. Honorable mention on the salsa- super delicious. Christina is the owner and she is hospitable and on top of it. Each entree was $25+ so we avoided that but we’re happy with our drinks and such. Good atmosphere, bar and restaurant seating.
