We had a group of 5 on a very busy Friday night and Jamie took the best care of us! Drinks and water were consistently refilled, she checked in on us often, and she really made us feel taken care of. All of the meals came out hot and were delicious. It was the perfect atmosphere for a Friday night and I would highly recommend Esperanza’s if you’re ever in Telluride!

Good Mexican food, but way overpriced and the margaritas were not good. Also in a basement.

Fun, downstairs restaurant in the heart of Telluride. We enjoyed the spirit forward house margaritas and the chips and salsa. Honorable mention on the salsa- super delicious. Christina is the owner and she is hospitable and on top of it. Each entree was $25+ so we avoided that but we’re happy with our drinks and such. Good atmosphere, bar and restaurant seating.

It's hard to find this place , it's in the basement, but just walking in and the beautiful smell hits you ! The place wasn't very busy and we were seated right away. The server was very nice and polite . Portions were huge and the food excellent. We ordered pitcher of margarita and it was delicious as well. I can't recommend enough this restaurant!

Decent food but really expensive for what you get. $26.99 for an enchilada. Cocina de Luz down the street is a much better alternative.

$97 before tip for a chicken burrito, a steak quesadilla a watered down strawberry daiquiri and a house margarita. Used to be a great spot for locals and now it's unreasonably priced. Won't be going back any time soon.

The worst chile relleno I’ve ever had. The enchiladas were better but still overpriced. Most of the plates were $25+. The only good thing was the music and it was a cute restaurant but the food was not good. definitely not recommended.

Worst and most expensive Mexican food I have had in a long time. $26 burritos, really? The tostada ($18.95) was a real disappointment as were the fish tacos. Sitting in a windowless basement dining room just adds to the terrible dining experience.

Kinda hard to screw up mexican food but they did! Got the two enchiladas combo. Yucky food. The restaurant is down in a dark basement. Terrible food and location. I do not
