I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at Gorrono Ranch earlier in the year and let me just say it was incredible. The location is unmatched and a perfect place for a sunset ceremony. The deck is amazing for cocktail hour too! The food was amazing, the staff was professional and made sure everything happened on time. 10/10 would recommend having your wedding here!

I went in for lunch on opening day and was pleasantly surprised that they now have table service. No more fumbling with barcodes and apps and typing in your credit card. The service was great and the food was very good. And they even have a new 100 inch TV upstairs so you can catch up on the games. Perfect spot for a break from your ski day.

Great place to have lunch on the mountain while catching a few rays.

We had a great time skiing and then a great time recharging with live music and refreshments on the mountain. You will probably find a seat for your group but it helps to not wait too long. It gets crowded the closer to noon it gets.

What an incredible oasis on the mountain at Telluride? Our group met for lunch daily, and we enjoyed every bit of the experience from the cocktails to beer selection to live music to food! And don't forget to slide down the hill a few times.
The QR Code system went down on our last day, but the staff worked hard to accept orders at the counter and quickly deliver food.
Well done.

This used to be one of our favorite spots to grab food on the mountain, but now they have removed nearly all of their vegan options. All that’s left is a disappointing beyond burger (with no bun) and fries. It seems like Gorronos is going backwards when lots of other places are increasingly offering great animal-free options. At least bring back the mediocre veggie chili :/

Terrible system to get food. WAY TOO LONG TO WAIT!!! Came to Telluride to ski not wait for 1hr to get a burger, chili & BBq

Orders taking 1.5 hours for nothing complicated… missed an afternoon skiing due to the length of the wait. Very on brand for Telluride, high prices, poor service for below average fare.

Rowena is amazing. We love it here. Great drinks and apres ski. In an old cabin on the mountain this place just feels like your back in the old days at a saloon. It’s amazing.

Some options on the menu are good. But it is very pricey - yes ski mountain prices, but not as high quality as it should be. However, biggest complaint is the time it takes to get food. Their new phone only ordering system is just silly-everyone waits 20-45 min for food.

The lodge itself provides a cozy atmosphere to relax while on the mountain, however the food is way over-priced and mostly poor quality. The $14 chili was decent, but the $18 tenders and fries were horrible. The chicken was overcooked and the fries were soggy. One would think that a luxury resort could provide hot, quality food.
