We got takeout from here, they said it would be done in 10 mins, and our walk home was only 3 mins and the food was like cold cold and needed reheated when we got to the house kinda gave me the ick that we arrived on time and the food was very cold by the time we got home. Felt premade and like it was sitting around for awhile. Once reheated it was tasty, I liked the Foccacia and Vegetarian Pizza. We ordered 3 pizzas and they were good but not really anything interesting considering it was $30 each for a small cold pizza. Makes sense that all the other restaurants in the village had customers but this place was empty.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Service was good. Unfortunately, the food is bland. We really wanted to like this place. We tried it a second time, still same outcome. The food is very underwhelming. We tried pizza, soup, various pastas and chicken dishes. Was just lacking flavor.

Had a wonderful authentic Italian pizza and salad meal outdoors with Mountain View’s at this place. Super summertime lunch! Service was prompt, food was quick and delicious and plentiful. Just a delightful and peaceful place. Super enjoyable.

This is the most disappointing review I have ever written. We have been loyal customers of all the restaurants owned by Carmela and Paolo for almost 30 years. We feel like we lost a friend. This prices have risen dramatically while the quality has suffered. We shared a Pizza Salsiccia Bormina and a Caesar Salad. We have ordered both many many times. The pizza had little evidence of sausage and was overwhelmed with mushrooms. The pizza should be renamed Pizza Fungi. The salad was good. This is the culmination of several recent dining experiences that were disappointing. We did not try one of the $30 plates of pasta- very overpriced. Sadly we have lost one of our favorite restaurants

Well, I think my title speaks for itself :))) I do miss Italy time to time and that place reminded of the beautiful country. I went there with my wife on our last night at Mountain Village. We were greeted so warmly and genuinely like we were the La Famiglia ( ok, the family ) and were seated in the main dining room next to the fireplace. As usual in Italian restaurants first comes some bread and olive oil which obviously added to the ambience of the place. It has a terracotta colored walls an the whole atmosphere just screams that it's a family place here comfort food is served. Ok, enough of nostalgia. I ordered pasta with sausage and vegetables and my wife went for the chicken salad. To my taste pasta was a bit too al dente, I would prefer it on the softer side, but it's a matter of preference, next time I will ask about it. I also asked for a glass of wine and a beautiful aromatic wine from Sardininia was a divine compliment to the main dish. Thanks a lot to Bruno who served us that night. Honestly, I didn't want to leave the place but seat and enjoy the surroundings as long as I could.

Be advised, Tap water is an option! The waitress made us buy a $7 bottle of still mountain water lol. Don’t worry about dress code. Wear sweatpants or a Tux and you’ll be welcome. The WEIRDEST vibe from a restaurant ever. Feels like you’re in your Italian grandpa’s living room to eat, and not in a good way. Totally does not align with the rest of mountain village’s style by any means. Don’t expect the pasta to have any seasoning either. Menu says linguini and mushrooms. Literally will only be linguini and mushrooms! Aside from the super weird vibe, food is subpar and so is the service.

My lady and I walked in an hour before close, and the dude working looks at his watch when we walk in. I watch him do that to the next table that walked in too. Such a wierd vibe in the restaurant. So we got our pizzas Togo because we didn't feel welcome. We got a Margherita pizza and a prosciutto pizza, they were both reqular cheese pizzas, one with prosciutto. Place is garbage.

La Piazza (merged with La Pizzeria) has abundant outdoor seating in Sunset Plaza in Mountain Village, a short walk from the Heritage Sq. station of the gondola. The menu is very pricey, even for Telluride. The service during our lunch was good but the meals were of mixed quality. The Caprese salad lacked basil leaves, with just a few tiny strips of massacred basil. The thin-crust pizza had insufficient tomato sauce. The chicken limone/carciofi was good, though the accompanying vegetables were mediocre. This would be a nice place to sit in fresh air for some food, but only if the prices were cut in half.
