Mountain Top Catering

We worked with Dave at Mountain Top Catering for our wedding in Ridgway and everything was fantastic! He brought our vision to life curating an amazing menu with us for our outdoor mountain meadow reception at Top of the Pines. From the appetizers, to the salad and the dinner we selected, Dave and his team delivered a high class meal for our wedding guests that received rave reviews. Communication was great throughout the entire process and we hope to work with him again!

We can’t say enough great things about Mountain Top Catering with Chef David! We had the privilege of two evenings and both nights were superb. We had great communication with recommended menu options and Chef had no hesitation with making a few changes for dietary requirements. Chef was very knowledgeable, professional, personable and an expert at his craft! Helping our meals with prep and service was Felicia and she is fantastic! From booking, to confirming, to payments, this was a first class experience.

David was extremely professional. His menu was creative, visually stimulating and amazing on the taste buds. Our family of seven thoroughly enjoyed the food presentation which was well thought out and different from anything we have experienced in a restaurant before. His server, Felecia was timely in serving the food, gathering up plates and bringing the next course. Both were polite and kind through the whole meal experience and we agree that if Facebook allowed a five star rating we would certainly give Mountain Top Catering just that! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chef Dave and Felicia were amazing. We had the pleasure of having them cater for our family over 2 nights at our rental home in Telluride. The menus were 5 star as well as the service. Would definitely recommend Mountain Top Catering as a must do experience when visiting Telluride, Colorado.

My husband and I had Dave Hafer from Mountain Top Catering cater the rehearsal dinner for our wedding and he (and his team) did absolutely amazing! Dave was very responsive to my initial inquiry and was very patient in assist with planning the menu as we had some guests with dietary restrictions. He called me a few days before to confirm the menu and last-minute details which was very helpful! He then delivered the food to the lodge where we were hosting the dinner (in Telluride, Colorado) and set-up the meal with such thought put into all the details. He even brought a framed, typed-out menu to place so guests knew what the foods were! What really blew us away is that Dave came back late that night after the rehearsal dinner was over and picked up all of his catering supplies so they were out of the way by the time of the wedding the next day. Overall it was a wonderful experience and delicious food!

He made a watermelon salad, lobster pasta, stuffed zucchini, and prime rib for entree. For cocktail hour we had charcuterie, crab cakes, and short ribs. Dave’s servers were great as well and very quick and professional.

Amazing delicious flavors and a great crew to work with for our event. Special detail to the menu and food is our #1 item to spend money on. Thank you!

The whole experience was great. It was nice not having to go to a restaurant. Food was good and they left the kitchen cleaner than it was before they cooked. We would use them again.

If you want great food and highly professional service, you have come to the right place. David and his assistant managed to set up, disappear during my daughter's wedding ceremony and toasting, and reappear at exactly the right moment to begin service. It all happened seamlessly and without our saying anything.

David catered our wedding at the Beaumont Hotel in Ouray, Colorado. He was very professional and always available to answer our questions. We hired him from Denver for our mountain wedding and was Not Disappointed At All. The food was amazing!! All our guests were raving about how delicious everything tasted! Everything was moist and tender and cooked perfectly! My husband and I highly recommend MountainTop Catering! The prices were affordable with a delicious and amazing selection of food.
