Unfortunately had a really negative experience with the food at Siam. I understand that Telluride is pricier in regards to food, which I accept. What I am not a fan of was the actual flavors of the food. I ordered the ginger and garlic beef and it might be the most disappointing meal I have ever had. The beef genuinely looked boiled and completely unappetizing, the sauce was extremely watered down, and I genuinely could not finish it.
The chicken satay was mediocre and the pad see ew didn't taste like pad see ew at all. I absolutely love Thai food, so this was extremely disappointing overall, especially when you considered the price. The only thing that tastes as it should, was the white rice.

Siam Restaurant in Telluride: The ambiance was warm, cozy, and inviting—with a unique blend of mountain charm and Thai elegance.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and service. Especially Mark.
We tried several dishes. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced, the Thai basil stir-fry had just the right amount of spice, and the curry was rich and aromatic.
Every bite was fresh and flavorful.
You can tell this place takes pride in quality and authenticity.
A must-visit if you're in town—don’t miss it!
On a side note: Telluride is Expensive, so expect to pay three times for everything, whether it's food, shopping, or entertainment. Be prepared... Or pack extra snacks

Best Thai food in Telluride! The food is a little pricey but it's definitely worth it if you're craving some spicy drunken noodles or flavorful curry. During evening hours this establishment gets quite busy so make sure to put your name in early. They have a couple tables outside as well as bar seating and tables inside.

my family and I came to eat at this restaurant. We were very excited and actually waited an hour and a half just for that restaurant. but we were met with very rude staff that had one of our guests at the table delivering the checks to our own table instead of the server. When we confronted her about a 20% gratuity that we did didn’t feel was fair due to the poor service with a wrong order, rude staff and ultimately having us be our own servers we let them know that we are happy to pay the bill, but that we are not pleased with the 20%. After that, the manager came to us started escalating. The situation didn’t offer any apologies and even offered to call the authorities. we were very excited to dine here and was very disappointed in the service. it is not worth your time you are met with rude staff. There is much better places to eat in town. and the hostess was not pleased to sit our party. making us feel like an inconvenience.

It’s was a little tricky finding information online about this restaurant but we stopped by anyways and we are SO HAPPY we did!!! We have celiac- they had a ton of GF options. The staff were all friendly- multiple people came to our table. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town

Disappointed, Again — After 20 Years as Locals
We’ve been coming to Siam for nearly 20 years—we’re longtime locals and have always loved the food. But unfortunately, the service continues to be the weak point, and last night was no exception.
We arrived about 15 minutes early, were the first guests there, and waited patiently on the steps soaking up the sun. The staff saw us—there are plenty of windows and the front door was open. A couple walked up a couple of minutes before opening, and despite us clearly waiting longer, the host went straight to them, seated them, and completely ignored us. No acknowledgment, no explanation. It felt intentional and was frankly rude.
When we were finally seated, we didn’t even open the menus—we knew exactly what we wanted and placed our order right away. That same couple..relaxed with two drinks before even ordering—and still got their food well before us.
This is sadly not an isolated incident. We keep coming back for the food, but the consistently dismissive, inattentive service makes us think twice every time. It’s disappointing to feel this kind of treatment in a place we’ve supported for decades.

Slowest service known to man. Ended up leaving after waiting 45 min for a table, another 30 to order and 40 for food. Left without being served food. Went to smugglers, union and had one of the best hamburgers ever

Placed an order for pickup via Toast. It said ready in 20 minutes. I didn’t receive a receipt or any sort of order confirmation so I showed up 30 minutes after placing the order and was told it wouldn’t be ready for at least another twenty minutes, but that they’d text me. Waited outside, came back in 30 minutes after receiving no text. Still not ready. Took over an hour and a half from placing my simple order. I’m very confused because the restaurant wasn’t even full and all I ordered was 1 single curry. $36 and an extremely long wait for very average Thai food. Wish I could have cancelled the order and got my money back
