Smugglers is a small brewery that has exceptional craft beers and delicious food. We ate there twice during our stay and each of the meals was excellent. The dining area is SMALL and so calling ahead is a good idea to check on the wait. Everything is cooked to order. We had burgers, chicken, sweet potato fries and each item was delicious. Absolute must for a nice casual night out.

This was the best meal we had during our stay in Telluride! The cheesy potato tots and meat pies were so good, and the steak frites couldn’t have been better. We also tried the root beer and moscow mule - both were good! We’d definitely come back when we return to Telluride.

Only good beer in Telluride, period. Cynthia was such a great and groovy bartender!! Impeccable service and phenomenal drinks. Really good food and a surprisingly elevated bar for a brewery - they have yellow chartreuse. No one has that. I like this spot a lot.

Completely messed up my order- admitted it was his fault - didn’t comp me the meal or even the drink I had as compensation. Just ‘sorry about that’ - thought that was ok? Well guys - it’s not.

The pumpkin beer was phenomenal

Went twice while in town, honestly only because the “Brewben” sandwich was the best Reuben we’ve ever had and we wanted another.

Cool vibe and decor. Better service at the bar than seated at a table. Beers were mixed. Both IPA’s had an odd flavor at finish (and I love IPA’s) but the Irish red and porter was amazing.

Or server was amazing. He recommend Jones Family bourbon and it was a hit. The food was great. The wings were big a flavorful. The cheesy hash brown balls were great. The hanger was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend

Came for lunch and we both got burgers (I got the bacon one) and both were great! House salad was an apple and walnut mix and was surprisingly good! For beer they had flights available with a good mix of options and I liked them all (seasonal pumpkin one was fun).

Hard to really rate the place since we were not given a chance to eat there. After the 2 of us were seated and water poured in our glasses the server explained that the restaurant was out of several entrees. He then proceeded to eliminate over 80% of the entree menu including all of the most popular items. The explanation? It was the end of the season (fall) and this happens. I feel bad for the servers, it's their loss of income. 100% fault of management for not stocking enough to cover the end of season film festival that has been going on for the past 16 years. But honestly, Smuggler's Union doesn't make their profit in the fall season. They will do just fine when the snow falls. Welcome to Telluride.
