Delicious beers and brats. Friendly staff and great venue.
We returned to Stronghouse multiple times during our March 2025 Telluride trip. Stronghouse lived up to our memories of great service, solid beer, and hearty food.
Beer was good, cool place and nice staff.
The good was decent, expensive and small portions.
Maybe grab a beer and skip the food
Great atmosphere and hard working, friendly staff. Wrongway IPA and soft pretzel. Damn that was great!
Such a cool building (be sure to visit the restrooms) and atmosphere. Service was great (they were very busy) and food came out fast.
All I can say is YUM. Great for a casual bite to eat, we had their soft baked pretzel, fried chicken sandwich with what seemed to be homemade pickles & sauce, and a jalapeño brat & fries. It was all soo good! The atmosphere is also perfect after a cold winter day with the warm hues & stone build. We loved every bit of it, I recommend this over a fancy spot all day. I still can’t stop thinking about that pretzel
Beers and brats are very good. 4 stars (I am a fan). I had the Irish Red, Pale Ale, and elk brat. But I am giving this place a 5 star as the ambience is as good as it gets. Just come as feel for yourself if you haven’t been.
Welcoming ambience, fantastic staff, and delicious food! Saw this quaint place at night and had to come back for food and drink the next day!
The pretzel and fries were delicious! The chicken seemed somehow burnt and undercooked.
I ordered the rattlesnake & rabbit bratwurst and it was delicious! Patio view was perfection.

Brats and beer were the best!
My buddy and I came for a drink and wound up staying for 4 hours. Cool ambiance, bartenders and crowd are friendly.
I really enjoyed their beer selection, which offers a variety of options for every palate. Pairing it with their brat made for a satisfying meal; the brat was flavorful and well-cooked. For families, there’s a kid-friendly option with the hotdog and fries combo, which is priced at $11. The outdoor seating on the balcony was a highlight, especially with the fall leaves creating a beautiful and relaxing backdrop. It’s a great spot to enjoy a casual meal with scenic views.
On the downside, I wasn’t a fan of the pretzel. It was a bit too hard for my liking, and at $9 or $10, it didn’t feel worth the price. However, the fries were fantastic. They’re on the thinner side, with a perfect balance of crunch on the outside and a soft, fluffy inside. Overall, while some items were hit or miss, the setting and beer selection made it a great spot to relax and enjoy the season.
One of our favorite spots in Telluride!
Wow everything was amazing ??
