Visited Stronghouse on a Thursday evening, in the off season, an hour before they closed, and the employees were incredible! Sat us quickly, were welcoming, and we never felt rushed to order, eat, or pay our tab. The food was tasty and they had nice cold beer, and we definitely closed the place down... employees were still so friendly when we left!

Warm, rustic and inviting atmosphere. Excellent burger, service and beers. The Scottish ale was the best I’ve had, the tripel and Blonde Betty were both excellent. We upgraded to truffle fries but they were not very truffle flavored, more like garlic parm fries.

Best spot in Telluride, delicious $6 pints is unmatched. Probably the best pretzel/ beer cheese I've ever had. Steps to the free gondola. I will certainly be back every time im here

Great beer and delicious food!
We loved this place! Service and food was top quality!
Stopped by on our first night for drinks and decided to come back our second night to try the food. Everything was so good! Great beer and the food was amazing. Loved the Mac n cheese and beef sandwich, and the side salad was huge and so delicious. They took great care to accommodate my daughter’s food allergies. Gorgeous building too.
I ordered the chicken sandwich and the BLT, and honestly, both were disappointing. The bacon on the BLT was overcooked—almost burnt—and the chicken sandwich had no flavor, with lots of tough, chewy pieces. For the size, it definitely wasn’t worth the price. The fries were cold, which didn’t help. Surprisingly, the best thing we had was the Caesar salad. If you decide to come here, I’d recommend just sticking to the beer. Save your money on the food.
The history of the building is worth researching. We stopped for dinner and the food was amazing. Yes, some reviews say the music is loud, but we were able to have a good conversation without talking loud.
The service was excellent, bartender and waiter very attentive. My husband had the solo bratwurst with onions and brown mustard ✅. I had the green chili and the pork melts in your mouth, with carrots that still have color and texture, side cilantro, red onion and jalapeños to add to taste.

Amazing home made lager!
One of my favorite spots in Telluride, just a great vibe , reasonable prices and good beer and good food.
A great place to stop by for a drink and a bite to eat! We loved sitting on the patio with our dog but the inside looked lovely too. The staff are so kind we’ve already been here twice on our short trip.
Limited food menu, the food was okay, self/app ordering process is not ideal, self serving water, and you are required to bus your own table if you sit outside. ALL that and they ask you for a 20%, 25%, or 30% tip. They pretty much just bring you your food and hardly there to ask for drink refills. Workers were pretty friendly but seemed annoyed when asked for things like refills… I personally won’t eat here again but give it a try and make your own judgement.
Awesome spot to grab a casual bite and great drinks! The Rueben sandwich is the best I’ve had anywhere.
