Sketchy fries! Get them. They look kind of a mess but they are so good. We got 6 kinds of tacos here. I got elk sausage, drippy mitch and the lambrizo. Husband got ahi tuna,, pork belly and Korean BBQ. Our favorites were the elk sausage and pork belly. Tacos came out rocket fast. Some seating outside.

Good tacos, kind of expensive for what you're given. The salad is massive, though, and pretty good. (though a bit over-salted) The place is clean, and service was really quick and pleasant.

Very unique flavors, but definitely the best tacos I've had in a while. Their queso is what really stole the show, it was divine.

Their Telluride location has closed :( You'll have to head to Ridgeway to get your fix

The tacos were amazing. The menu has a great selection of items. Prices are very reasonable. The staff was great. This place is worth checking out. The tacos are on point.

I ordered the Korean bbq, tempura shrimp, and ahi Mahi. The meats were good but the tortillas weren't good. That is way I give them a 4 star. The flour tortilla was too thick instead request the corn tortilla or no tortilla. I recommend they order authentic tortillas and people will be forming bigger lines. I saw a salad option which I felt I would have liked better with the tempura shrimp. Their popular taco is the Korean bbq, But my favorite was the tempura shrimp. Ahi Mahi was good. I recommend this place to everyone because of the food, the customer service, and how fast the food came out.

Incredible tacos! The menu is creative and sometimes off-the-wall, and is executed to perfection! The employees are super cool and were very friendly and helpful to us. We tried the pork belly, the Drippy Mitch, and the Buffalo Chick. All were amazing! I'd try the Korean BBQ and Ahi Tuna on my next visit. The Sketchy Fries were good, but pretty similar to the flavor profile of the Drippy Mitch, so I'd suggest choosing one or the other. Really though, you're gonna enjoy it all no matter what you order. Cheers!

Don’t let the long line dissuade you! Gnar’s taco menu is inventive and delicious. Try the sketchy fries… I am still dreaming about them!

Gnar was a clutch find on our first night in Telluride! A lot of places aren't doing dine in or have super long waits so it was so nice to find a place we could eat in and chill. Which that's exactly what the vibes were, super chill. I tried the Korean BBQ taco, the drippy Mitch, and shared some queso tots with my husband. Both tacos were awesome... The drippy Mitch (chorizo) was probably the standout even though it didn't have much heat like most chorizo does. But the name was spot on and even came with a "flour tortilla napkin" aka a second tortilla. Lol the tots were good but a bit small for the price. Overall, really good food but a tad pricey... but that tends to be how ski towns go!

Phenomenal tacos. It's a small place and we didn't really look at reviews before going in, and we were pleasantly surprised. All the tacos we tried were delicious but our favorites were the Korean bbq and the yardcore. So so good! Must go if you're in telluride. Quick and friendly service. You order at the bar and the tacos come out pretty quick.

Food is as good as it gets for the price. We like to sit outside at sunset and have a margarita

Don't miss Taco Del Gnar on your trip to Telluride. Queso and tater tot's was amazing, also had the Korean barbecue which was great. Only downside was they were closed on Monday when we went back to have lunch again.

Excellent food and fun atmosphere! Service was top notch and the food was delicious. Fresh and flavorful without being too much of anything - not too strong or spicy. Absolutely someplace we would come back to again!

The tacos are special. Flavors are good. This bar/restaurant is a popular place in Telluride.

I have to say, I was REALLY stoked to try this place. Really stoked. I had my vegetarian tacos all picked out and then we arrived and the only thing on their whole menu that is what got me in the door was gone. The Dragon Broccoli was out and I was bummed. We ordered 3 meat tacos, 2 avo tacos, chick and queso double kids meal, bean and fresco double kids meal, and chips and salsa. About $47. The avo tacos were good. I liked them. Two were enough for a grown adult who has a healthy appetite. The three meat tacos were good, says my husband, but also said two would've been enough. Chicken taco kids meal... lots of food for $6.50 with two tacos and queso tots (tasted a bit like fried fish, IMO), but watery and my kiddo ate it, but wasn't raving. My vegetarian daughter loves beans, cheese, and tortillas, so I thought the "single bean and queso fresco taco" would be the right choice. They arrived and had chunks of steak in them... I inquired if they had any beans that did not contain meat-- nope. I felt terrible wasting two tacos, but no where on the menu does it say these had meat in them. I figured that they would have one meat kid menu option and one veggie-friendly one. Gratefully, the expo told me she could make avo and cheese tacos for my kiddo and that did the trick. She didn't charge me for those, which I was grateful, but also felt I should've been informed before ordering "bean and cheese" tacos that had meat in them. Either way, they made it right. Not tons of outdoor seating, but you can get it to go and eat in the park right there. Lots of tables there and lots inside if you're eating inside lately. We prefer outside with beautiful views. Not sure I'd be back, but I appreciate the vibe and think it's a cool concept. Sure wish I could've tried those dragon broccoli tacos!
