That said, the food portions are small for the price. It feels like you’re getting skimped at every turn, which makes the value hard to justify.
Drinks are also on the expensive side, but they’re crafted really well and worth trying.

Service was 4/5 - polite, friendly, helpful, but slow to check on us and they seemed understaffed. Food was 2/5 - the eggplant was extremely salty (tasted like straight miso paste) while the radish and cabbage were completely unseasoned. Brussels sprouts were all chips and no actual Brussels - was like eating air or getting a second order of popcorn. Crab baos were tasty. Elk wontons were dry inside and overcooked. Salmon crudo was flavorless and again with watery flavorless radishes making for a really weird texture differential. Popcorn was the best thing we had which does not match the price. Prices were gauging for so many of the dishes being mid. For a small menu that’s been on since spring it felt like BOH was not in it tonight. Value 1/5. Left hungry due to not wanting to be burned on anything else.

This place is a gem. Unique energy, great food with Asian inspiration, and fantastic cocktails. The bar tenders gave great service and are a large piece of the fun vibe that makes There so uniquely great. I recommend making a reservation - the first time we went they were able to squeeze us in after a short wait, but it is small and intimate so we could have waited a lot longer.

Amazing time. Wontons and Cucumbers were the best starters. Cocktails were strong and delicious. Max and his coworkers were super attentive and showed us a great time. 10/10
Our group went for a drink before dinner down the street. We all had a great time especially when the bubble machine came out lol. Excited to come back!

Love this funky Telluride restaurant. Innovative and delicious food, drinks and overall vibe. Some of the staff are a little too cool but if you can override the attitudes and see the forest through the trees, overall a worthy experience. Love their cocktails especially.

Went in for some drinks with friends. We were the only ones there. We were having a perfectly normal time, talking to each other and the bartenders. One of the bartenders proceeded to say to me, and I am NOT KIDDING: “you have a face for radio, voice for sex work, and a body for sea world” I was actually shocked by this comment. I had said nothing to provoke this. I find this genuinely offensive.

Stumbled into There Bar, conveniently 200 feet from where we’re staying - close enough that even I couldn’t get lost. We meant to just have a quick drink, but with the kids safely left at the accommodation, it swiftly turned into a proper date night.
The patio was a gem, the service was spot-on, and the drinks were dangerously good ….seriously, whoever’s behind the bar deserves a medal. The food was excellent across the board, with only one dish not quite hitting the mark (let’s just say the shrimp would have benefited from less time on the grill).
In short: top-notch spot for food, drinks, and a relaxed evening out. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Telluride - just pace yourself on the cocktails.
