Went with my best friend. We are both locals and I was back in town visiting. It was crammed and we constantly had people bumping into our table. My friend actually had someone’s baby spit on her. The baby was screaming and it was complete chaos. Once our waiter took our order, he was no where to be found. It took asking twice and about half an hour just to pay our bill. The food was average at best. I used to go once a week but after this, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Unfortunately the burger was severely undercooked , waiter never checked on me or food and never was asked for a refill once and place was not busy.
Staff including waiter was friendly but my eating experience wasn’t great.
Maybe I’ll try again at some point but I’ll give it some time before I do again

Our bartender Staci was awesome! Super friendly and talkative, those are hard to come by now. Made a killer bloody as well! Definitely come sit a his bar!

I got one burger online and they charged me $43 the service was rude. I was waiting there for 40 minutes and they and the burger was not good and there was no flavor

We went but the restaurant was closed for a private party. Please put this info online when you are open but not to the public. We were told by employees they had been closed for 3 days, as if we should know. Private parties. Again, just post it. Don't act like we should have known. We don't work there. We check restaurants out online before going. This place might have great food, but at this point I don't care to find out. At least be courteous.
Tomboy Tavern has a lot going for it—prime location at the base of the mountain, a fun après-ski vibe, and a solid drink menu. It’s definitely one of the more lively spots in Mountain Village, and on a sunny day, the patio is hard to beat.
That said, our experience was a bit mixed. The food was okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable for the price point. The burgers and fries were decent, but some dishes felt like they came out rushed or under-seasoned. For a place that looks upscale from the outside, we expected a bit more consistency in the kitchen.
The bigger issue was the service. While our server was friendly, things were slow and a bit disorganized. We had long waits for drinks and the check, even though it didn’t seem overwhelmingly busy at the time. It felt like the staff was stretched thin or not fully tuned in.
All in all, Tomboy Tavern is worth stopping by for a drink or a casual meal with friends, especially if you want to sit outside and soak in the views. Just go in with moderate expectations and a bit of patience. 3 stars for the atmosphere and location, with room to improve on food and service.

Fabulous service from Pablo. Very efficient, kind, and attentive. Atmosphere is lovely either indoors or outdoors. The rustic flooring is gorgeous. The booths have wonderful curtains and decor. Bathrooms are very clean. Food was plated beautifully. Overall if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Thanks Pablo!
