I want to leave a zero star rating but i cant. Where to begin. I wanted a fresh spring cake and was presented with a spring fling cake that had to have been frozen for at least 2 or 3 days. The fruit was old and very minimal. By old I mean the peaches were dry and barely holding shape due to the thawing. The strawberries were old already wilting and going bad. By minimal im talking 2 slices of canned not fresh peaches, 3 halfs of strawberry totalling 1.5 strawberries, and literally 10 blueberries. Due to being frozen the cake cracked in multiple locations. The frosting was about an inch thick. When we called to custom order a spring fling cake we were told they have them daily. Then upon pick up were told if we wanted it fresh we should have called to place a custom order but they didn't take our call as an order to be custom assuming because they have them daily. (Frozen) And last the cake should not be oozing juices from the fruit on the inside. We can talk about the insides of the cake but we all know the fruit was canned, old, and hanging on for dear life. Once again this is due to thawing. (btw peaches and grapes are not fruits used for spring fling and yes i know you can substitute for fruits that are in season but its july mangos are in season)

Recently visited this little gem. I found a lot of my favorite baked goods. Usually, I had to go to a Mexican store to purchase the items I like, but they have a variety of pastries you won't find at the grocery store. The sell varies kinds of pan dulce (empanadas, Conchas, elote fino, cono relleno, y niño envuelto) as well as donuts and bear claws, to name a few. They also sell Tres Leches cakes. The cupcake selection is phenomenal. Tuesday's, they're $2.50 each. They also sell different types of bread. Bagels, bollillos, talera, and French bread.
Edited: i had to edit my review. Recently, I needed a cake for a birthday, so I dropped in. They had a 4 layer cake with strawberry filling for $40. The frosting was great, not overly sweet or overpowering. The cake was firm yet moist. Forget ordering from supermarket this is my go to place now. No bakers were around, and I couldn't get it personalized.

I place an order ahead of time for a six pack of cupcakes that had the wrong color icing on top and no filling inside. Not worth $34.

We asked for our son's cake for pick up at 11am. When I showed up at their shop, it still wasn't ready and they needed an additional 45 minutes to complete. They claimed they called to inform us, but we didn’t get a call nor did they leave a voice mail. After finally being ready at 12:48pm, we rushed back to the party venue to discover they misspelled Minecraft and also misspelled my son's name.

Went in to try and order a cake. Was told to look at the cup cake flavors to figure out want I wanted. They weren’t listed anywhere. Grabbed a few cupcakes. Here I was worried about driving home with them all in a box. Little did I know they were so hard that nothing was going to affect them. I tried to upload a video of me banking the rock/cupcake on my counter. Crazy that they sell this for human consumption. There’s absolutely no way they wouldn’t make someone sick. I wasn’t going to find out.

I was hoping the reviews were wrong, but everything was so dry. The cupcakes were so hard and dry that they were hard to swallow. The tres leches was not even slightly moist, which was bizarre. The frosting on the cupcakes tasted like canned frosting, but with so much dye that you could taste it. Even my kid noticed the taste and refused to eat it. In addition to those issues, this place is pretty expensive ($40/dozen cupcakes and $7.50 for a slice of tres leches). Big box store cupcakes are way better and more affordable.

I purchased 2 dozen cupcakes and pastries and threw half away. The items were very old and dry. I called and spoke to someone who said they would give the message to the owner, and no one got back to me. Called again, and no one would answer the phone. I purchased items here several years ago, and they were delicious. However, after this experience, I will not be back. $75 for stale cupcakes is ridiculous, and this place offers zero customer service.

Sweet Life Cake Shop is truly a gem! I needed a heart-shaped cake with very specific flavors and intricate designs, and they absolutely nailed it. Not only was the cake beautiful and delicious, but they helped me out in a pinch and made the whole process effortless. Incredibly easy to work with and super accommodating.

I had the pleasure of working directly with the owner, Ari, who has the greatest personality—warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can really feel the love they put into everything, from the cakes to the customer experience.

We also come here regularly for breakfast dates, and it’s honestly one of our favorite spots. The lattes are top-tier, the sandwiches are always fresh and flavorful, and the cozy decor makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy your meal.

Highly recommend Sweet Life for custom cakes, a great breakfast, or just a cozy spot to hang out. Ari and staff are just the best!

What a great hidden gem! If you're looking for an amazing bakery that will bring you back for more, this is the place to be. They have cupcakes, donuts, regular size cakes and an extraordinary bagel breakfast sandwich with a fresh cooked egg bacon and cheese. I opted to go with a jalapeno bagel and it was fantastic. It does have a seated area so you can enjoy sitting down and enjoying some good food. I would highly recommend to anyone as bakeries like this are a dime a dozen and I'm glad I saw it today. Best eats everyone!
