They tasted more like the cocktail shrimp you buy it Sam’s or Costco, so very rubbery and flavorless. The portion sizing was also small, like appetizer size.I won’t be back.

I decided to try out Country Thai for delivery instead of my usual go-to spot due to unexpectedly high prices. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. The $2 brown rice I ordered turned out to be a mix of white and brown rice, which felt like a deceptive cost-cutting measure. The total cost for the curry and drunken noodles exceeded $40, a steep price for such poor quality.The noodles lacked flavor, were excessively oily, and the tofu was undercooked. The curry was disappointingly watery and overly salty, with low-quality chicken that was tough and tasteless. To make matters worse, the curry was filled mostly with cucumber, highlighting the restaurant's apparent cheapness.In addition to the disappointing quality of the food, there was a significant discrepancy in the spice level. I specifically ordered the dishes at a 'medium' spice level, expecting the authentic Thai heat experience. However, what I received was barely a hint of spice. Authentic Thai cuisine typically delivers a sharp sting from Thai chilis at medium or hot levels, which was entirely absent here. It was disappointing not to feel that satisfying heat that adds depth to the flavors.The inflated 4.5-star rating for Country Thai is puzzling and doesn't reflect the quality of the food. It seems that locals might be unfamiliar with authentic Thai cuisine. This discrepancy in ratings suggests that perhaps some customers may not have a discerning palate or may rate experiences highly regardless of quality. As someone who appreciates authentic Thai flavors, I found this restaurant's offerings to be far from satisfactory. I paid $6 extra for this terrible food. The "fried rice" was just regular rice with two small pieces of egg in it. The beef was so tough it was inedible. I paid $3 extra for "combo" curry with 2 tiny shrimp in it. This was hands down the worst order I have ever had from Door Dash. Disgusting, inedible, absolutely NOT what was promised despite paying a ton extra. So gross. I had to feed it to my dog because I couldn't eat it. If I

They were very busy tonight and clearly do mainly take out.We ate in the lobby and despite the take out containers the woman working took the time to serve our meal like we were in a sit down restaurant.The papaya salad was amazing. The sauce was perfect. I wanted to pour it in a cup and take it home with us.The sauce on the chicken satay was amazing and the carrots were even cut to a pleasing shape. I know that's silly but when a dish is visually appealing it shows the care put into the food.My pad Thai was just the right amount of spice at medium and i like hot food.I'll definitely be back.
