Extremely disappointed with my visit today! I paid for the large pozole and got what amounted to the small. Only half the container was food and the rest was juice that spilled in the bag, the bread was soggy and the flan, (which I had to drive 15 minutes back to the restaurant and get because they forgot to give it to me with my order), was tiny (picture below). $34 disappointment.
I had the horchata water and a steak smothered burrito. My water was super sweet and the steak was too salty. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was super friendly. I think this place was okay; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but it's a great place to explore on a weekend brunch.
Wow, lived here in Thornton for 3 years and tonight decided to try this spot!! 100% authentic from the greeting to the service to the food!!! Hidden gem!!! Gonna try again for sure!! Had the smothered burrito with ground beef and it was flavored beef!! My Lady tried the carne asada plate and it was delicious!!!
