La Botana Mexican Restaurant

We went on a sunday and the place was dead. The food was okay, and the atmosphere was a bit boring. (Titanic was on one of the Tvs???) The staff was super friendly though!
Prices were fair for the portions but the kids meals were lame.

Very friendly staff. Food is always delicious. My daughter loves the salmon salad especially. It's full of fresh greens, citrus, avacado, asparagus, and of course salmon. I've never had a bad experience here.

A wide variety of food choices and our food was prepared very well! My only criticism is that their mildest sauce was too spicy and although the Pico de Gallo was delicious it had jalapenos in it, again too spicy.

Delicious authentic Mexican food that I crave on the regular. The staff is attentive and very kind. I recommend La Botana to everyone I know.

Ordered Carne adovada plate, next morning got diarrhea and vomiting. Called la botana that morning asked to speak with person in charge of kitchen and spoke to man who stated he was in charge of kitchen (did not give his name). Told him what made me sick I ate there the day before, around 5:00 pm and he said it could not of been the dish I ordered as he stated that per Google it takes 3 days to get sick from eating BAD Food, totally ridiculous statement, he did not seem to care? I will never again return or recommend LA Botana restaurant to anyone.

The food was very good. From the chips and salsa to our dinner and dessert, everything was very fresh and delicious.

The service was great as well and the restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained.

Don't overlook this somewhat hidden gem.

The food we ordered was pozole and first it took forever to come out and when it finally did, it was terrible the taste the smell everything so i told the worker about it and all i got was a sorry , no help what so ever on the bill so paid $50 bucks for disgusting food that we did not eat. Wont be back and will let all my friends and family know about my experience. Only good thinng was the chips and salsa.

I don’t recommend this place I know way better genuine Mexican restaurants and this one is not it. They use old ingredients and EXPIRED food they keep in the back outside sometimes and let flies build up on it then reuse it for their next customer. The staff seem nice but they’re actually fake and disrespectful once you leave the restaurant. The owner of the restaurant wears a jesus necklace which is ironic because that whole restaurant chain is a scheme for something else because Jesus isn’t going to save that terrible food and he barely pays his workers therefore there’s always new workers there because he lies to them telling them he’ll pay them more but instead have them stay at below minimum wage. Food is bad, overrated, and poor staff.

Three food was good. Almost as good as what is served at La Junta, Rocky Ford Mexican restaurants. Menudo had pig feet and meat. Yuk!

My husband and I ate here on December 11th, 2024. The service was great, the server was a sweetheart. My husband had carne adobada and I had pork chops and eggs. The green chili tasted like a strong chemical, smelled like it too. I told the server, she sent a lady over with dark hair and glasses. I informed her of it, she said thank you and that was that. The adobada was burned, the onions and peppers tasted sour. Sad experience, you would think a manager would have come to speak with us. Didnt happen. So, fool me once.....
