Las Palmas is a fairly small no frills Mexican restaurant located in an older strip mall. We were greeted by a friendly host and seated right away in the bar area where we prefer. The bar has 8 stools and all were available.
Started with chips and salsa, and house margaritas. The chips were crispy and salsa had a nice heat. The margaritas were tasty and potent.
For dinner on our first night we ordered the stuffed sopapilla and carnitas burrito, both were delicious....

I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food. This is now becoming one of my favorite restaurants overall.
I have been here twice now in less than a month. It is as close as I have seen to areal authentic Mexican food.
