I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food. This is now becoming one of my favorite restaurants overall.
I have been here twice now in less than a month. It is as close as I have seen to areal authentic Mexican food.

Nostalgia bias aside, this is a fun local spot.
Imperfect, but still pretty good. Definetly more of a family-night-out than a date-night-out vibe if that makes sense.
Nothing worthy of disdain, but nothing truly exceptional.
Kid-friendliness: Fun little quarter-games. Nothing astonishing, but enough novelty trinkets to make for a special memory or two.

Started with chips and salsa, and house margaritas. The chips were crispy and salsa had a nice heat. The margaritas were tasty and potent.
For dinner on our first night we ordered the stuffed sopapilla and carnitas burrito, both were delicious....
