The food had good flavor pozole was a too spicy and the flan had no flavor . The al pastor tacos were amazing . Food come out too fast didn’t had a chance to finish the food when the rest of the food was in the table. The server seem to be in a rush to get us out because she brought the check 2 times before we had order dessert. Drinks were good

I don't like writing negative reviews but I'll make an exception. I went here with a friend for lunch. We were looking for a quick bite to get back on the road. The woman that greeted us was pleasant and seated us but we waited 10 minutes for our waiter to come by the first time. He was cold and rude. My friend asked a question about the margarita and he just starred at her and then asked if we were ready to order. Our food sat under the heat lamps for 20 minutes while our waiter stood at the bar on his phone. The food was good so I bet it would have been great if it didn't sit there for so long. I understand that everyone has a bad day here and there so hopefully we just caught him on a bad day.

Amazing food and friendly staff!

Disappointing experience! We were the second table when the restaurant opened. From the start, our server Ricardo was rude. When we asked questions about the menu, he seemed very annoyed. As we began ordering, he appeared to be in a rush and didn't take everyone's order we had to call him back and finish ordering, which made him more upset. The food took over 40 minutes to arrive despite being one of the first tables, and Ricardo never checked on us during that time. Not a great start to the day

This is the best restaurant in Thornton! The food is SO fresh and they really have an elevated menu, not standard fare. Great drinks too. It's hard to pick a favorite but the squash enchiladas, grilled Mahi taco, and ceviche are all outstanding!

The food is unbelievably fresh, authentic and delicious. The service was good but not 5 star. The food is gourmet and doesn’t match the location- which is not a negative statement. I’m just saying, don’t be fooled by the locale this is not strip mall quality.

Our visit to this restaurant was incredibly disappointing, mostly due to the poor service we received from our server, Edgar.

We asked for suggestions on alcoholic drinks that weren’t too sweet, and instead of being helpful, Edgar replied dismissively, saying, “What you’re asking for with those drinks is sugary.” When we followed up to clarify if a specific drink was sweet, he acted annoyed, as if our questions were unreasonable.

Throughout the meal, he never checked in on us — not once. No follow-up on how the food was, no drink refills, and no effort to make us feel taken care of. The tacos de papa were also a letdown — they were made with plain lettuce instead of the expected cabbage, which really diminished the dish.

When it was time to pay, I asked if we could split the bill, and Edgar became visibly upset. He sharply told us it was our “obligation” to mention that at the beginning of the meal, and spoke to us in a rude and condescending tone, saying “you need to do better.”

When we asked to speak with a manager about the situation, Edgar dismissively told us, “We’re only simple workers here,” implying that there was no one in charge to help. This level of customer service — or lack thereof — is absolutely unacceptable.

I will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect and professionalism when dining out.

Stopped by for a quick dinner while waiting for kids to finish dance classes. Was super impressed with the quality of the food— next level queso blanco, delicious carnitas taco, topped with legit guacamole. The service and atmosphere were great: clean, upbeat, filled with locals watching futbol. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing too. Highly recommend this little spot hidden among the average chains.
