I would have rated my experience at this Safeway 5 stars as this is my go to place for lunch and breaks from across the parking lot, but that has quickly changed after overhearing multiple times the same employee, (from what I later discovered is the store manager Alicia Martinez) , being verbally aggressive towards other employees. I overheard this discussion near the sushi bar, and what seemed to be coming from the bakery side. This is not once nor twice I've heard this specific individual being so disrespectful towards her teammates. It's been by far too many. This is plain disrespectful, unprofessional and overwhelming to be hearing such discussions, especially with the strong verbiage she uses towards others. With this being one of the multiple occasions I have overheard her it personally lead me to go to customer service to be provided with information as to someone higher above her to put in a complaint in regards to her inhumane treatment towards her teammates but was denied information by her very self... I really hope this problem is taking care. Would hate to see this store go more understaffed.

If they had a - 5 that's what I would give them! I go here almost everyday! I spend a great deal of money here for 30 years and more ! Even when they were on Washington! Talk about EXPIRED everything!!!! MY DOG FOOD OUT OF THEIR COOLER GREEN! WITH MOLD! Deli is NEVER OPEN! Bought almond milk today ROTTON! Bought cheese last week NO GOOD GREEN! Nobody at all is looking at this store! They ARE setting themselves up for a MAJOR LAWSUIT! Awful awful awful!!!!!

This place NEVER answers the phone. I just want to be transferred to the pharmacy to check on a prescription, but they won't even answer the phone to let me do so. Now I have to go up there, and will have to wait for them to fill it OR have them tell me to come back another day. Absolute travesty of a grocery store. Also, just to make this clear, the pharmacy people are always SO nice; so it's not them who are not answering phones. It's the main line to the grocery store that never gets answered. This is the 6th month in a row I've had this problem and I've even addressed it with the "manager" (I think they were lying about who the manager was) who ASSURED me it would never happen again. Do I recommend this place? No. They absolutely suck. Sometimes I can even hear them pick up the phone and hang it up on me. WHO DOES THAT!? My 2 year old can answer a phone and say hello; so she must be smarter than the people working at this store.Dawn, it won't let me reply to you but I have already been thru that process 4-5 times; that's what y'all tell me to do every time and yet STILL, nothing has changed. Thankfully, the amazingly kind pharmacy lady gave me the pharmacy's direct number, since you guys can't figure out how to answer the store's phone.

If I could upload a picture I would. However I was shopping in Safeway today around 1230. There was a guy with a black dog on a leash in the store. The dog was walking behind the guy. The guy kept pulling on the leash. Well if the guy would've turned around he would've noticed that the dog was dropping poop nuggets all over the floor. A customer then proceeded to step on one and skidded it across the floor. People wonder why sickness goes around. They shouldn't allow animals other than service animals. This is getting out of control. It is absolutely disgusting.

We will not be going back to Safeway again. The last two purchases of fresh salmon and flat iron steak where so tasteless that we threw the leftovers away. We had stopped going to Safeway years ago because of a bad customer service experience. We decided to try them once again. We bought the fresh salmon on sale and the following week we bought the Flatiron steak which was also on sale. Both purchases had zero flavor. We don't understand how that is possible but we will not be going back there again. We gave them two stars, instead of zero,, only because the store was clean, the people were friendly, and they finally added self-check aisles.

Evidently, this place has improved in the past year because I am very pleased. I haven't had any problems. All staff are friendly, helpful, and kind. The place is clean and organized. Prices a bit higher in some areas but I enjoy shopping here.

Horrible service at the bakery today. The lady did not want to help us order a cake and told us that they couldn't do whipped cream on the cake we wanted. Claimed they could only do buttercream and when I told her that was a lie bc I have ordered from here before, she went to the back and came back saying they did not have any whipped cream. She then asked when we needed the cake for and I told her Saturday, she then proceeded to say that they needed at least 10 days in advanced!! I have never been told this before, in fact, I have had them make me a cake in less then 72hrs. Very disappointed with their customer service

I took my senior parents in for their covid vaccine at the pharmacy today. (771 Thornton Pkwy location) The pharmacy was efficient with essentially no waiting. The pharmacist, Susan, was so kind, compassionate, and empathetic. My mom has many allergies. She had my parents wait 30 min after vaccination and checked on them several times. The pandemic has taken a toll on our isolated seniors, who are a vulnerable population so her kindness and attentiveness was greatly appreciated. My parents and are grateful they received the vaccine and that this was a positive experience. Thank you, Susan!! ??

I visited this location yesterday and was appalled as I was in self check out and the Employee supervising self check out asked me to wait and had me step aside as she scrolled through my items and looked over what appeared on the screen. I advised her my items all have been accounted for. The Employee then says I know ' I am just checking. I was a proud Safeway customer using my points and digital app for coupons ' but after what happened I will be taking my money to Kings ' but I love my Safeway app and points. ? Maybe it's just this location that is disappointing?!...
