South Philly Cheese Steaks

Been going here for years and tonight was our last visit. It was a convienent alternative to lousy drive thru food choices, but now, the quality of food has slid into un-licensed, fly by night street vendor slop. Dry utility meat, no cheese, barely any onions, no peppers and cold.
Also, can't seem to keep employees (read other reviews about owner and you'll see why), which I suspect is the reason for their very limited hours.
Obviously, they were popular 15 years ago, but now its pretty dead. Maybe its time to call it and close.

Cheez whiz, provolone, onions and mushrooms... is really good. Fried mushrooms were crispy outside and juicy inside... yum

The sandwich meat is made from formed chopped meat and not thin sliced meat, and there were small amount of onion pieces in the sandwich. Not a great experience.

Food was fine, but I won't be coming back because of how the boss treats his employees. Dude spent my entire order berating his employee on how to take my order. Doesn't seem like a good boss

You like bread, this is the place. No meat all bread. Took a large, cut in half to make a sandwich. Amazing place.

Gotta say more of a review on the owner of this place than food!(though it isn’t that good) He berates his employees, he then thinks he owns the parking lot of which he confronts people
Going into the yogurt store or las palmas, parking signs say 20 minutes don’t specify a restaurant. Just 20 minute parking! He has threatened with mace he has used profanity to people he is just a very mean person! So to even support this business is not happening! Better places for cheese steak! Dont waste your time!

The Cheesesteak Sandwiches are Soggy and Gross. The Owner is rude and treats his Employees like Crap. Don't waste your Money!!!

God forbid anyone parks in this 20minute parking space the owner will make it a point to watch your car and yell rude remarks at you and threaten a tow truck if you use these spots to run in and grab food. There’s a tactful way to handle it and he doesn’t care. If he can’t respect others how can he have a successful business?

The food here is pretty good. However, the manager was very unprofessional to his staff, and loudly and repeatedly berated his female, high school age employees for getting an order wrong. The food is definitely not worth the poor treatment that this manager displayed. Extremely disappointed and an uncomfortable atmosphere.

We went here this past Saturday and had not been in a couple of years. It was absolutely horrible. There was no one in on a Saturday afternoon, which should have been an indication. We ordered 2 basic Philly cheese steaks that weren’t even cooked on the grill and had no grilled onions on them that should have been. When we told the young girl who took the order, she just kind of laughed and walked back to the register. This place has definitely gone down. It advertises on the menu that it’s shaved sirloin—this is definitely not the case. I can see why they haven’t received any awards since 2014. In hind sight, I should have requested my money back. I’ve never had a Philly sandwich that was so bad.
And, within an hour, both of us got sick that lasted a day. Stay away from this place.
