This is the best ran taco John's I have ever been to. Clean, well organized, and all of my items came out perfect. I live downtown Denver but I'll be driving to thornton consistently to this taco John's. Kudos to the staff here.

I grew up eating TJ‘s. At this restaurant, I paid eight dollars for a beef taco salad and it had 1 tablespoon of meat in it. I won’t be back to this store.

OMG I should've read the reviews first before coming in!!! The amount of times a certain employee is mentioned and the woman still works there. YIKES! I can see why they barely ever have customers. I'm in this area frequently for other stores and restaurants and today my favorite restaurant is closed so I came to give this a try. I came in, pressed the bell several times, waited a few minutes until they had finished their conversation, while I had to use the restroom. Then when the manager comes out and the manager tells me no, I have to order first before using the restroom.. Why else would I be inside, I didn't only come in to use the restroom. Their manners are way off here. Anyways I left to Starbucks where everyone is welcomed and got my breakfast there, plus used the restroom first. I didn't even try the food here but I wouldn't want to if the restaurant is never busy, and they lack in manners or a welcoming atmosphere. No thanks.

Cheaper than Imodium A-D But being serious, I Got so sick off their scrambler burrito. Tasted like it was found behind the grill as the tortilla was harder than a taco shell and the egg tasted like describing the “consistency of egg” to ChatGPT while uploading a pick of a sponge that’s been sitting in a sink for 2 years.
Staff was awful, zero accountability and did not want to make it better, wouldn’t even give me a refund.
I rarely come up to Denver and I won’t be coming back here again. Probably a reason there are so many few of these left in the state.
Worst customer service ever. Good riddance.. I’ll just stick to the main food groups in the food pyramid taco bell and chipotle. This one has def ruined my appetite for good

The tall guy thats always at the register when you come in(he's been here for YEARS) is about the most awkward/rude person I've seen at a fast food place, just looking at him makes me angry lol

This is a nice modern Taco John's location. Clean! The kings of mexican fast food. Been eating at Tacos Johns since I was a little kid (Im pushing 60 now) in Montrose.

While I used to go here all the time there was one experience we had recently which rubbed us the wrong way.
We've been paying customers for years.
On our way out, I had accidentally spilled a drink and notified a worker and was apologetic.
My toddler needed to go the bathroom but the worker wouldn't allow us to use the restroom. She said she didn't want use to track the soda... However, without a doubt, it was possible for us to avoid tracking the soda while being able to access the restroom.
We'll not be going back to this Taco John's.
Also, another worker, Joel, incredibly nice and professional.
