We ordered online last weekend and 30 minutes later I thought to call and just make sure they received the e order. Glad I did, when I called the guy I spoke with said he didn't see anything under that name. After a few minutes he told me it was on the way. Well 45 minutes later, I decided to call again. I told him I know for a fact I don't live 45 minutes away from the location. He said "oh I know what happened, your order was delivered to a different address". No apology nothing. Horrible place

So I don't leave reviews very often but the service here has been especially bad and the manager particularly rude the last couple times that we have visited. We happened to have a coupon tonight that just came in the mail, so we thought that we would order a pizza from them (Thornton location). So we ordered the pizza, and when my wife went to pay she noticed that the charges were much higher than they should be, she said something to the cashier, and the cashier agreed something was wrong. The manager quickly jumped in and said that he would handle it, he promptly gave her one dollar back, and she said that still wasn't right, to which he answered "the rest is tax"... So it wasn't worth arguing over, but we all know that tax is not 30% here in Thornton. Well he took us for a couple extra bucks this time but he lost a customer forever. It is also worth noting that they have a large sign on the outside that says "New Management", it is unfortunate because we never had any problems like this with the old management. The pizza quality was also not very good this time, it had large patches where it clearly had bubbled up and there was no sauce or toppings, just a generally sloppy and bad product. This used to be my favorite pizza, but not anymore. Sorry Garlic Knot but there is are a whole lot of other pizza joints around that would appreciate our business.

Placed an online order went to pick it up and they said “oops I deleted it instead of making it.” Was told it would be made in 10 minutes and of course did that happen no! Don’t order online here!!!!

Ordered pizza from home at 4:30. Delivery was supposed to be no later than 5:30. Received a text stating they are busy and the deliver was pushed out to 5:55 at the latest. At 6:15 I called the restaurant. The worker told me that they are really busy. I asked if my pizza order was in and was it ready. After putting me on hold, he informed me that it was out of the oven 10 minutes ago, but the delivery driver was still out delivering and my food would go out when he got back. He had no idea when that would be. He never apologized just stated that they are busy and it could be up to 2 hours. I told him about the text I received, he told me they have no control over that. I started to complain about this and he put me on hold. The manager picked up...again no apology, just said they are busy and it would be 2 hours. I informed him that it has already been almost 2 hours. He bluntly said "do you want to cancel?" I was irritated and told him this was unacceptable, he said "I don't know who you think you are talking to" I stated I thought I was speaking to the manager. He asked what could he do, I stated that something free would be appropriate, he said he is not authorized to do that. He did not seem to care about my concerns, I told him to cancel the order, and he said ok - I told him I would not be buying from them again and he said "I don't care" He ended up hanging up on me. I get that all businesses are struggling with the labor shortage (brought on by Liberal Policies) But the discourteous attitude of a Manager is inexcusable. The corporate leaders should find better ways to support the local store/restaurant workers. Maybe if they can't handle the orders, they should stop taking them until they are caught up. Also some coaching or your "managers" would be good. I won't go back to this restaurant. There are other options.

Super flavorful, perfect crust and delivery may have taken awhile but it was worth the wait and still hot!

At one time they had excellent pizza the last three times we’ve ordered something was wrong and this is what we got tonight will never order again.

Pizza was gross even before we ate it. We usually love this place but now they serve overly greasey and frumpy pizza. The garlic knots were okay but couldn't make up for the pizza. The toppings all fall off when you pick it up and the crust was wet with grease and thin. Very disappointed to say the least. Won't be ordering garlic knot again.

Bugs found in food! My daughter ordered a calzone and 3 alive bugs crawled on plate after first few bites. Totally gross.

The food was good, but the service was not. We got our appetizer but when the waitress was carrying our pizzas, she dropped all 3 of them on the floor. It took her almost 5 minutes to come over and apologize and say they were remaking our dinner. When I went to the bathroom (women's bathroom was out of order and had to use men's room) you could smell a strong odor of marijuana from the alley off the back door and when I passed one of the young men working there, he reeked of pot! The restaurant was then starting to smell like pot! When we finally got our food, we just left and ate at home. The new management needs to their employees in line or they will be going of business soon! This used to be a great fun restaurant to go to with my kids, not any more!!!

Stood at the counter wanting to order while 4 employees looked at me and never acknowledged me at all , finally just walked out since they didn't want to help me . Place smelled horribly of marajuana, wich is probably why all the doors front and back were propped open , definitely no one cares about this buisness and how it is run !

Wow, that’s all I can say. This place has gone down hill. Ordered delivery before and all was good but this time when I ordered online there were no drivers. I opted to pick up instead, what a mistake. Was told it would be about 30 minutes. When I arrived they couldn’t find my order. What a mess! Their inside is covered with boxes and junk so obviously so dining in. Over 6 people waiting for orders, no place to sit and wait, their restrooms aren’t working, out of lasagna, knots just sitting on the table waiting to be baked… just don’t, save yourself and go somewhere else.

Usually love garlic knot but our pizza was super burnt. Very disappointed considering how expensive the pizzas are. For example, this burnt pizza was nearly $30.

Every time we have been to this restaurant to eat, it has been a good experience. We have ordered for delivery a few times with not such good results. Tonight, I placed an order at 6:07 pm and was told it would be about an hour. Not great, but acceptable. At 7:15 I called for an update. I was told our food was done, but the driver was still out on a delivery and we would be his next delivery (was offered free garlic knots for our next order-woohoo!). At 7:45 still no pizza, and worse, no call to say they were running behind. My son is on his way to Wendy's and my bet is he will be back before any pizza arrives. Please do not make promises you cannot keep and when there is a problem, communicate with your customer. We will never do business with The Garlic Knot again. I understand everyone is facing staffing challenges these days. Generally, people will be understanding if you communicate and own the problem, but blaming the last customer who "wouldn't answer the door" as the reason for my delay is unacceptable. Shame on you! If you cannot deliver pizza, don't offer the service.

Did you ever see one of those Santa Claus slasher movies like "Christmas Evil?" Well, this Garlic Knot has an evil-Santa look-alike, presumably the manager, whom you get to hear shrieking hostility at the young staff, complete with screaming f-bombs, as you place your order and serve yourself a fountain drink. If you tiptoe through the clutter back to the restrooms you might catch a glimpse of a young employee standing still in the corner with closed eyes, trying to self-soothe after enduring the barrage of pure animal aggression from evil Santa. There is a small sign posted on the front door and if you read the fine print you'll see that they are only offering to-go orders now, which may explain why my young child and I sat at one of their outdoor tables for half an hour waiting in vain for them to bring out our order. I finally went back in and got it myself, and sweet talked them into giving me a plastic fork. The food was OK.
