Everyone that gives this place 5 stars has no idea how French pastries are supposed to taste like. You can tell they use cheap ingredients. Honestly a Walmart bakery can make most of their goods.
I'll have to go back for a slice of cake and a croissant since those seem to be popular items. But as of right now, I would not recommend.

I stopped by TOUS les JOURS in Thornton around 5:15 PM hoping to enjoy a coffee and maybe a pastry or two. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Despite the store being open until 7 PM, the pastry shelves were nearly empty, and there was no coffee available because the machine had already been cleaned.
I understand if this had been closer to closing time, but this was nearly two hours before. It felt like the store was winding down far too early, which was frustrating as a customer expecting the full menu and experience. The staff was polite, but the lack of offerings made the visit feel like a missed opportunity.
I hope this was just an off day, but I’d recommend checking in earlier in the day if you’re hoping for a full selection.

Got the red bean donut and it tasted like onions/old sauteed vegetables. Absolutely disgusting.
I went this morning at about 9am and the lady behind the counter was the absolute sweetest. She had such a warm demeanor! We ordered a couple pastries and they were immaculate! We come to Tous Les Jour all the time because of how good the food is! There is no better place for breakfast around! This experience today however was probably the best we ever had :)

The service is usually on the slower side. Please provide these kids more training. It's not their fault. They are probably 15/16. The store manager really needs to step up. My coffee was barely warm so I had to ask them to heat it up. They should know how hot the coffee should be before serving.
Please have a senior employee and a teenager on a shift. A combo of two kids is setting them up for a failure.
