I've been here a few more times recently and the entrees we've had - all the types of meat, combo platters, and pho broth - have been top notch. Everything we've had is grilled and tasty, infused with flavor. Strong beef and spice flavoring in the brisket pho. Fresh ingredients are crisp and pretty. Will definitely be back for more.

Waitress was rude. When we go we never have this type of service. We were there for about 10 minutes and waitress was already trying too make us pay and pack our food. We left no tip and she got mad and talked too my girlfriend with attitude. She kept asking where we left the tip and got mad when we said we didn’t leave a tip. We’ve been there before and we’ve gone times where we didn’t leave a tip for not having money and no waitress ever got mad at us for that.

Ordered veggie egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli.
The veggie egg rolls were suuuuper soggy and didn’t even taste like egg rolls. The veggies with the sweet and sour chicken were steamed, the sweet and sour sauce is watery and flavorless. The beef and broccoli had ZERO sauce or seasoning on it, it’s like they just boiled beef and broccoli and put it in the container.
Super disappointed after spending $76.

This was my first time at Vietnamese Cafe. I ordered pho tai and spring rolls with pork and shrimp.
The pho broth was ok, but did lack depth and flavor so typical of good pho. I ordered the large and there was only a small amount of rare steak. The steak was sort of torn into small pieces and rather tough. The noodles were cooked well and unfortunately the best part of the pho. I liked that they provided cilantro along with basil.
The spring rolls were the deciding factor for me not to return. The rice paper was very tough. I can live with that. But, the roll was Luke warm - room temperature at best. There was an off-smell on both the pork and shrimp, with a quite unsettling taste. I opted to stop at the second bite as I was concerned about the meat being bad. I worry about the health consequences here.
There are some good pho shops in this area and surrounding vicinity. This was I'll be my last visit. I hope they're able to make some quality improvements and tend to food safety as the service was impeccable today and the atmosphere was nice.

Used to be our go to restaurant when we lived in Thornton but definitely wasn’t that great of food this time. The main complaint was the fact that the outside of our bowls were dirty. Slow service and mediocre food.
