Here every week. Staff is so nice.
The website says there's a fireplace it doesn't exist. One reason wr went to the Village Inn thought they had a fireplace.
Good place for breakfast.
Garrett is usually our server & he's just amazing. Very friendly, quick, attentive without hovering. Food is good & rarely do we wait for a table ir fell rushed to clear the table!
This is the second time I have been here and I am a fan of village inn.The first time the food was good but the service was terrible, but I decided to try again.me and my wife walked in and no one was at the front, there was 7 employees in the restaurant with a few tables filled.4 employees were sitting in booths, and a few walking around. No one even acknowledged we were there,I tried to get someones attention and no one would look at me.I waited and was ignored. We walked out.last time for us
Village Inn always proves that the modern, early 2010's diner is here to stay. Warm service and orange atmosphere that rivals the dull green and brown of a Black Bear or Perkins. The liveliness of this particular diner is miles above the sister location of the faceless, white Village Inn on 120th. The food, albeit as standard as it gets for an American breakfast is faceted with good vibes and somewhat comfortable booths. The staff is very friendly and rather familiar with their casual tones, similar to a Denny's without the angst. My only concern is the seemingly evident wearing of seats, carpet and roof.
And the free pie on Wednesday is still a special touch, albeit you must purchase an ample meal rather than a quaint mug of coffee.

Village inn isn’t what it used to be. My family of 4 came in around 5pm and there was only maybe 2 other families dining in. Now I see why. All of our fries were rock hard, my daughter’s grilled cheese was burnt and had very little, unmelted cheese. I got the club sandwich which was very small. The club sandwich next door at Gunther toodys is massive though. One of us ordered the crepes and said they were good. Maybe if you eat here just stick to breakfast foods or the pie but I don’t think our family will be back.

I feel like there aren't very many GOOD breakfast places around the area. But Village Inn is damn good one!!
So, four stars for food, but only cuz its not really a gourmet place, right? Coffee is a touch bitter, and the over-easy eggs can be greasy...
But other than those little nit picky things, I love this place!!! Service is fantastic!!! My man Garrett has it figured it out and is great at his job...
Not to mention to pie... hehehe

This place is dirty. Every single chair looks like this or worse. If they can’t take the time to keep the chairs clean from built up dirt and grime I wonder what else they can’t be bothered to keep clean. I was so disgusted!!! And this isn’t a days worth of dirt. This is caked on.. The food was bland. My husband had green chili on his omelette to add a little flavor and he said that didn’t help either. My omelette came with some sort of tomato paste that wasn’t listed on the menu. It was runny and cold and once again no flavor, I understand now why so many Village Inns are closing. No big loss.
