It's okay not the best sushi and not even appetizers.
For starters , this place smells like cigarettes and the server confirmed that it's because of the businesses surrounding it so I feel bad for the owners and everyone who was working there for having to deal with that in a daily basis.

Everything was surprisingly good for being in Denver, well Thornton in this case. The only thing I thought could've been better was the miso soup. It had umami but needed a little salt or soy sauce.
Service was good and quick. The decor and atmosphere was on point. The chef even let me video him cutting up a tuna.
The overall experience was pleasant. Definitely recommended.

The only weird thing was they wouldn't give me the happy hour pricing because I called in the order. They said if I went in to order (even if it was still takeout), I would have gotten it. But because I called, it's more expensive. Honestly not sure what their rationale is there. But just so they know where I'm coming from, I don't see why I have to either come in and wait...
