We were excited to find this restaurant, we hadn't had Italian food in a long while. And we were not disappointed. This is a great restaurant in an old church with all of the ambiance of a Ristorante. We ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Alysse and Chico's Special. Everything was cooked perfectly and came out quickly. Our dinner came with a salad and fresh cooked bread. We ate and enjoyed the singing provided by the waiters. They have wonderful voices and excellent song...
We were looking forward to a great Italian meal, but it was a disappointment. The bar didn't have any diet drinks, so my husband ordered a Crown Royal and water. It was almost clear in color. When the bill came, we'd been charged $15 for it. Crazy. The chicken parm entree was acceptable, with way, way too much garlic in the homemade sauce. In my opinion, my entree, chicken marsala was awful. Chicken sliced so thin, it was leathery, just a few slices of mushrooms, and...
As always, it was a delight to dine here… there were six of us each one with a different entrée and every one of them delicious! The owner and staff are so attentive and we love the music. We are from Walsenburg Colorado and we thoroughly enjoy coming here!
