We were lucky enough to find this place on our way to Colorado Springs from Dallas. We were immediately greeted by positive vibes, beautiful plants, uplifting art, and some of the best vegan food we've ever had. Rahm (sp) and Jessica were incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about all things Vegan food and advice for our families spring break trip. We got the falafel dish, curry with the most amazing baked tofu I've ever had, and a grilled cheese sandwich for our 5 year old. Everything was organic, fully vegan, and knock your socks off delicious! Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and check this place out. We'll be going again on our way back home and it's left me with an odd yearning for Colorado Springs portion of the vacation to be over so we can eat there again on our way back home.

The food here is delicious and service is wonderful. We tried it Friday and are back again Sunday. This will be our go to every time we are in Trinidad Colorado.

Almost halfway between Colorado Springs and Santa Fe, Trinidad showed up soon after we'd begun thirsting for coffee better than the dehydrated tar at I-25's gas stations. Arriving 9 minutes after the close of the fancy place that came first in online search, we just aimed for Main Street and turned left. Saw a couple sipping mugs right away -- and AHHH, Jeremiah's creamy cappuccino and Sita's maple-pecan muffin were the best that whole weekend!

I’m not vegan at all and this food was absolutely amazing and filling. So many good flavors and the service was just as good, very impressed.

My dad came into town and we always go to the vegan restaurant here. The barbeque jackfruit flatbread is crazy good! I will crave it for days after visiting. You can tell they have a level of pride for the food that is not found everywhere. So glad we have this gem in Trinidad!

Sita's Kitchen has a welcoming Eastern vibe. Today's soup was a hearty, cumin-curry-scented bowl of fresh veggies and pinto beans, all locally grown.

My mango, banana, pineapple, hemp milk smoothie was a satisfying meal in itself.

Jessica and Ronald opened this charming café 8 years ago.

Small wonder it's a favorite hangout for students.

I absolutely love this place! Beautiful atmosphere, and the owners are awesome. super friendly and accommodating. I had the jackfruit sandwich and it was quite literally some of the best BBQ I've had. Not to mention the chocolate silk pie. This dessert is in a category of its own with rich chocolate flavor and a thick creamy texture unlike anything I have ever tried before! Definitely worth a sit down!

I got the falafel on flat bread and the chocolate silk pie. Small servings at a high price. The sandwich was okay. I was really expecting an explosion of flavor based on the description. The silk pie tasted like a spoonful of cocoa or cacao powder. Way too strong. The owner is incredibly condescending. I noticed that in other reviews. I won’t be going back. It came highly recommended so I was really anticipating a delicious meal. 😢😢😢
