Had one of their sandwiches (actually a half sandwich). It was great! And more than I could eat. Everything is fresh and made to order. They are also a German bakery and have a lot of fresh baked goods, fresh baked bread, and pastries. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place anytime you are in Victor.

My husband and I stopped in, completely unaware that it was a German bakery. We ordered two sodas, peanut butter cookies and a pretzel with cheese dip.The cookies we took with us and they were delicious. The pretzel we had to wait for because they made it after we ordered it. It came out piping hot and was even better than the cookies. What a hidden gem!

This place has a very cute vibe, the biscuits and gravy were amazing, as well as the ham and cheese crescent roll. The staff was super friendly too!

If you’re going for the first time I’d go with a Chicken pot pie followed by a slice of carrot cake, followed by a slice of German chocolate cake, top it all off with a bee sting. The frosting to cake ratio is always perfect (way less icing than most bakeries).

Seasonal cookies!!! I went for brownies but the five choices for cake found me trying to decide between a classic black forest and another classic German chocolate.I have had German chocolate cake made by German descendants in Dakota Territory years ago, and German chocolate by Amish heritage recipe. This one had a creamy frosting different to the candy style caramel you get in store made cakes.I was not sorry I chose it!!

We just had breakfast here and it was delicious!! The ham roll and the biscuits & gravy were scrumptious! The 1/2 portions of the biscuits & gravy was more than enough for my kids and the full order was huge! I just can’t believe the prices. Felt like I went back in time to the 90’s. Then the cookies - omg, the cookies! The bananarama was amazing. Like a cross between chocolate chip cookie & banana muffin. We got lucky and bought the last bag of the cookie sampler bag and we just devoured it. The cookies were buttery and light and full of flavor. My British husband almost cried eating the Cornish pasty, which he said was one of the best on this side of the pond. My only regret is not having bought MORE stuff to bring home as we’re in Denver. We’ll definitely go here again if we’re in the area and we plan to tell all our friends to stop by if they’re in the area too. The service was excellent as well. The young lady helping us was warm and engaging. The bakery itself was so cozy and the wood burning fireplace was so inviting. Wish this bakery was closer to us!!!

Delicious sandwiches and baked goods in the tiny mining town of Victor, not far from Cripple Creek. Several sandwich bread options, all freshly made. A handful of tables with a quiet ambience, making it easy to hear and converse.

Good bakeries are few and far between in most American cities, so stumbling upon this place, in tiny little Victor, was a delightful surprise. We had lunch one day and came back the next morning to pick up breakfast and desserts for later. The pot pie and the pasty were satisfying and somewhat understated, the pie having a sauceless take on the filling. The cinnamon roll was perfect, large and just sweet enough while still tasting the cinnamon. The Black Forest Cake, Bee Sting, and Peanut Butter Pie (enjoyed on subsequent days) were fantastic. And everything was shockingly inexpensive. Don't miss this place!

I came up here to work one day in the area and came across this place and OH MY GOD the moment you walk in you smell the best smell of fresh bread and baked goods. I've had the chicken pot pie (20/10) I've had two of their soups of the day (100/10)!! The cakes FIRE!! I literally request to take on the jobs in this city so I can stop by this bakery and I do every single time I come to this town. Even if I bring lunch I can't resist. I brought the loaf of bread home and made a whole weekend of grilled cheeses and breakfast sandwiches and it's just soooo good. It's the closest thing I could say tastes homemade. This place is a must!

The restaurant was adorable and the owner was very nice. I like to visit local shops to encourage local patronage. However, on the particular day I visited, I noticed that the kitchen was very dirty and there were flies everywhere. I only ordered a beverage as I didn’t want to eat with the flies in the prep area and the milk sitting out in the air. Hopefully, things are cleaner the next time. I mean no harm or ill will to the owner but the flies are a health concern for everyone.
