This is one of the best Mexican food restaurants I have ever been to! Everything they make is authentic and made from scratch. The family that operates it is AMAZING!

We had a fantastic lunch at the Howling Coyote Mexican Restaurant, starting with fresh house made tortilla chips served with tomato salsa and refried beans. My chile relleno was fried cheesy goodness, and my husband's chilaquiles were as good as any he got while traveling in Mexico for work. We will definitely come back whenever we're in town!

Based on the great reviews, we were really excited to eat here after a long hike. Ultimately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. It took 1 hr and 10 minutes to get a burrito and a kids burger. Our drinks went empty until our food came out. When the food did come out, it was sub par. Definitely don’t recommend this place, wish we would have spent the time wasted waiting for our food doing something more enjoyable.

Our motorcycle group stopped here a couple weeks ago, all were very pleased!
Our whole group was happy with the menu items we ordered. We'll definitely be back!
We were told that all food was made daily. The green chili burrito I ordered had good, flavorful spice without overpowering the flavor. Id order that again!

Delicious Mexican food, great service, and great prices.
If we weren't just driving through, this place would become one of our regulars!

This was such a cute Mexican Restaurant outside of Walden. We stopped for lunch during our exploration of the area. The food was amazing for the price and serving sizes were more than enough. Our waitress was very nice and attentive even though it was a slow part of the day. The food was really good!! If you are traveling through and enjoy Mexican food, it is well worth the stop!

So your out in the middle of the mountains and you're hungry. You see a nice little, pretty much only restaurant out that way. You stop in for a bite expecting BBQ at the most...But surprise it's a Mexican restaurant lol. But that's not all they are very, very good restaurant. Very clean as well. So far this place and one in Windsor have the best authentic mexican food I've had in Northern Colorado. Now on to the adult beverages... so much love is put into each drink. My fiance loves their micheladas and margheritas. I would suggest stopping in at least for a beer if your nearby. Great family and staff.

Comida bien rica!! We loved our lunch at the Howling Coyote. The entire staff was absolutely charming. They were friendly and thoroughly focused on their guests having a great meal. The chips, salsa and bean dip set the stage for a stunning lunch of bistec ranchero. The delicious beef was cooked with tomato, onion, chili and love. Absolutely perfect!! The accompanying rice, beans and perfect French fries were equally delicious.
We also noted that the restaurant and restrooms were scrupulously clean and that they have a great sense of humor.

Kinda off the beaten path. Cozy, clean. Staff was short handed, so service was slow but they had a smile. Limited menu due to staff issues. We had the fajitas. They were delicious. The chips and salsa were excellent as well. We would have to try it a couple of more times before we could give a better review. 700 miles away

Great little Mexican restaurant in the middle of the mountains. Weather got crazy and we luckily had this spot to stop and get some food and drinks. Reasonable fare for mountain restaurant.
