The smothered burrito belongs in an upscale chef driven Denver restaurant. I have tried a lot of burritos and find the best of all in sleepy little Gould? Yes, it is that good.

We’ve driven past so many times and finally decided to stop. We are so glad we did. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thus, delicious. Service was friendly and accommodating. If a large group comes in, you may need to be patience as the wait staff is small. But hey, we’re in the mountains, so what is the rush!

I’d highly recommend stopping into the Howling Coyote. Jessica and Kaia are very welcoming and the food is fresh and very tasty. The atmosphere is unique due to the absolutely beautiful wood bar and center fireplace. Try a Jalapeño Margarita and the smothered burrito and you will not be disappointed!
