Great place to stop for breakfast or lunch! I got the French dip and it was delicious! Steve (I hope that is his name) offered exceptional service even though we got there right before closing. Even if the food sucked, I would still stop and eat just to chat with him and the locals.

Small town cafe. Have eaten there several times both breakfast and lunch. Food was always great, reasonable portions and fair price. Staffing issues make the experience longer but what's the rush. If COVID19 has taught us anything it's enjoy the moments, never know what is around the corner. Never been busy when I visited.

Just the small town tyoe of restaurant you want to start your day at; very good comfy breakfast foods that stick to your ribs in satufying portions at real reasonable prices served by pleasant servers. Decor is warm and welcoming. Go, you'll enjoy.

A typical burger-and-sandwich place. A relaxed atmosphere, quite full but without a line. The food is reasonably good. My burger was a bit too charred on one side.

Never got to try the food or even place an order since the awful waitress took my drink order and never came back to my table but did help other parties that arrived after me and was obsessed with playing with their dog instead of serving me food. Finally gave up after 20 minutes and unable to find any other employees.

We were there on Sunday the 5th our server was Jennifer she was friendly. We loved the food,the Captain Jack burger tasted every bit as good as it looked and the Carnitas burrito was great. I recommend that you try it!

Our last name is Walden so we planned a trip to Walden, CO. While there, we ate a late lunch at the Mad Moose Cafe. The food was great and our waiter was very friendly! We really enjoyed our lunch and were able to buy Mad Moose t-shirts to commemorate our visit!!

Wonderful cafe with hospitable staff and amazing beef! The three of us who dined here all got wagyu beef burgers and loved them. We spoke with our waitress about the quality of the meat as I’m a bit of a n**** and were happy to hear that the supplier is a well known guy up in Wyoming. The Mad Moose cafe is yet another must visit in Walden which really helps paint a picture of just how hospitable this whole town and all the people in it are. Thanks for a wonderful meal, Mad Moose staff! We’ll be back to your wonderful restaurant and beautiful town before too long I’m sure.
