We were excited to go to Stonewall, but each dish was sub-par. The steak tar tar was like ground beef and the duck plantain dish was overly spiced with a non natural flavor. The Brussels sprouts were good.

We dined our first night in Steamboat after a very long travel day. We started with Manhattan cocktails which were quite good. The 6 of us settled on sharing pear or beet salads and then Elk au Poivre. All were excellent. A few of us paired dinner with a glass of local red wine, also nice. Our server was very attentive throughout dinner. However, after we'd finished and let him know dessert wasn't an option, he sort of disappeared. We sat there for 20+ minutes waiting for our bill, finally tracking him down at the bar to request it. Not the end of the world, but it did diminish an otherwise excellent dining experience. I plan on going back.

We have been twice this holiday, once to happy hour, which we enjoyed. We then went back for our Anniversary dinner, once the staff knew it was our Anniversary we were really spoilt and had a fun night. The food was delicious. Would recommend going and trying them out, I don't think you'd be dissatisfied.

The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered almost one of everything on the menu and every course was amazing. The service was off the charts and my dad asked for a salad after we had ordered. They went above and beyond to make sure my dad had the perfect salad. Absolutely put this on your list of best restaurants in Steamboat!!

The food was amazing and the staff warm and attentive. We shared plates and were stuffed when we left. Definitely worth stopping in if you want to avoid the crowded town. They will make you feel welcomed!

Great menu, but execution is off...soup was cold, duck tostones too heavy handed (cloves?), stuffed quail was good but stuffing was way over salted, elk loin was not done at correct temp.

Arrived at 8pm. Waiter did everything he could to get us out ASAP. Apps, salads, and entrees all arrived at 8:15pm - together. Once the food had arrived our waiter ignored us for 30min as he rolled silverware on the other side of the restaurant.

I was part of a group of 8 for a Friday night dinner and all of us greatly enjoyed the meal! We ultimately ordered a variety of items and everyone shared items family style. We ordered about half of the items on the menu. Our server Todd was funny and patient with us. We notified the restaurant ahead of time that one person in our party was having a birthday. Our server brought out a dessert, candle, and played Happy Birthday on the harmonica. He also presented the birthday boy with a card signed by the entire restaurant staff. Nice touch!

Stonewall serves good food much of which is sourced locally. There is a nice variety of choices and they label items as gluten free, dairy, vegan, etc. Cocktails are good. Wine pours don't look like they are 8 or 10 oz - next time we will stick to ordering by the bottle. We had a very pleasant server and enjoyed our meal.

Six of us shared several plates and all were delicious. The bison osso bucco was tender and delicious, scallops, beet salad, brussels sprouts - all delicious! And server was very attentive but not overly so. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the understated deliciousness of Stonewall. It's in a strip mall yet once inside, it's very quaint with exquisite service. The people are lovely and the food is delicious. It will easily become a favorite.

First time to Stonewall, and all my expectations were exceeded, in the best ways. Creative menu, attractive pricing, and exceptionally attentive service without ever being overbearing. Will definitely come back again.

Super cool place! They serve mainly ingredients from Colorado. The food is super creative and original. The family tapas style dinning was awesome for a family on vacation. The food was good but has some room for improvement. For example, The ravioli filling is incredible but the pasta was a bit dried out and crunchy on the edges. The cornbread was dry and could be sweeter. That being said, the pig wings surprised and delighted us. The bison Ossobuco was succulent and the marrow was creamy and delicious. The Brussels sprouts were perfect, the fries were also excellent. I'd definitely recommend this to any family or group of friends in town!

A fantastic evening overall. Todd, our server, was excellent: friendly and professional. He completely walked us through the menu, never trying to push one thing or another, and graciously prevented us from over ordering. He made the evening special as we had a birthday celebration. The food was delicious. The whole evening came together as a five star event! Highly recommend!

The way the menu was set up (sharables) was way too confusing and made me double, triple question my choices thinking “is too much food? Is it too little food?” The plate with the tostones was super dry that we could not enjoy it there, so we took it home to revamp with some sauces. The mushrooms dish was great, but I wouldn't consider that a large shareable portion. That's what stood out from my experience. Was there for a first time and just didn't walk away interested in a second visit.
