As a local I have come here more than my share to get a good feel for the place. I do enjoy the atmosphere, super divey and country. I've never eaten an item here that made me want to come back and order it again. It's a good place to sit at a bar and have a quick bite/drink if you're in a rush and starving, but if you're looking for a high quality, tasty meal, I'd look elsewhere.

Review for The Wellington Grill
I went here as a Grubhub delivery driver, and the experience was very frustrating. The worker was extremely rude to me when all I needed was the delivery code to complete my order. My job sometimes requires this code, and if I don’t get it right away, I have to sit there for three minutes until the system counts down. Some people may not think three minutes is much, but when you’re delivering food and working on a schedule, three minutes can make or break your next delivery.
On top of that, I deliver mainly in Fort Collins, so when I have to drive all the way to Wellington for an order, it already takes extra time. Then, most of the time, I have to head right back to Fort Collins for my next one. Time really matters in this job, and I would expect a restaurant to understand that.
If I ever have to deliver here again and they don’t provide the code, I will simply wait until the timer counts down before handing over the food, because I refuse to risk getting fired for doing my job incorrectly.
And honestly, the way the worker spoke to me was unacceptable—if I were the owner, I would have fired her on the spot. I’ve never eaten here, and after this experience, I don’t plan to. Customer service matters, and if you don’t want to deal with people respectfully, hospitality is not the right line of work.

Should have read the reviews B4 we came in here…. But dang we were hungry & the menu looked so yummy. First, the canned music is way too loud & the place has a funky smell to it. We ordered the fish & chips ( which came semi burned & the “chips”were lukewarm fries. I had the hot roast beef open sandwich. Mashed potatoes were also lukewarm (I suspect instant) & the brown gravy was tasteless. The toast the roast beef was on was just burned wonderbread-ish stuff. Just awful! Also incredibly overpriced. On a positive note the wait staff were so nice & positive. Sadly, we will never ever be back. Yuck!

Normally the place smells musty with a strong scent of bleach but today it absolutely REEKED of sewage. I'm not exaggerating. It made me gag. Smelled like a port-o-potty. I paid $25 for my takeout order because I felt bad turning around & walking out, but it went straight into the trash & I will never be coming back. Lost my appetite. There's no way food is sanitary being prepared in that stench. Completely disgusting. Staff was excellent though.

Someone needs to clean this place! it smells like dirty wet socks. The head bartender cares more about the drunks at the bar than working (Blair). She also never smiles and toots that she was voted the best in the town.....but we never get the same tasting drink on the next round. Also waited over an hour for food. The only saving grace was the live music. Come to find out the head chef was outside listening to music every 10 minutes instead of running his kitchen. Won't be back! Local yes, but every other restaurant in town is better, including the fast-food spots.
Maybe you just need to drink every night at the bar to get good service.

We ordered take out this evening. Only one of four of us actually ate our meal. Kids cheeseburger was so charred and hard- like a hockey puck! My husband and I both got the chicken fried steak- it was very over cooked and burned. $80 meal that wasn't really edible.
