The mushroom and Swiss burger was amazing and cooked to perfection.
The service was absolutely trash!!! I was given a very small glass of water on an 85 degree day. I drank it right away and it was left empty the entire visit. 45 mins or so. The gentleman working the grill gave me my food which was awesome, because the waitress was so bad, one can only imagine how long it would have sat there. I had to ask for a napkin and silverware halfway through my meal. I even sat there for another 10 mins after I was done eating waiting on my check. The lady even had the nerve to organize the cups right in front of me as I’m sitting there with a $20 bill on the bar. Absolutely ruthless…. The other waitress was a sweetheart and she was cashing someone out, so I walked up a paid her.
Walking in, the place smells amazing. They use a wood fired grill and it’s extremely hot it there. Great in the winter I’m sure. Get some fans maybe. 🤷♂️
I noticed another customer told our waitress that she “seemed on edge?” She says “I’m not from here, I’m from Jersey” and proceeded to stare at the guy. A yankee came to visit, a damn yankee stayed…,

Rudest place in town. Which sucks… because the food is really good. Read the reviews. It’s sadly not worth supporting a place that doesn’t even want your business. Winters are gonna add up when you continue to alienate us!

The aroma grabbed me from the street. A distinct smell of wood, fire, and ash overplayed with searing beef. One step in to the small eatery and I knew this local favorite would bring me back to my beloved Colorado days. Our party of 8 were accommodated by the sole server who had been serving there so long that she’s the institution too. The 1/2 pound beef patties were seared on the perfectly seasoned iron grate with a raging inferno bellowing behind. As the hot coals fell, the expert grillman raked them to a perfect heat. The taste, without peer. Let’s not neglect two required sides. The green chili and the red. Just get them and eat them. Don’t think, obey. Do it. The scratch kitchen and the mountain men preparing your meal go hand in hand.

Imagine this; you are about to close and 2 people walk in needing to be fed. As we own a business we know what it is to need to get out on time but Brooklyn & Jersey were so quick to set us down and take care of us all while taking care of closing duties. We assured them we could take our food to go and they ordered us to sit down and let them take care of us! It pays fellow customers to show your servers some consideration in what they all have going on. For them to put me and my husband first and us being respectful of their time,and their "Home Away from Home", great things happened here. They went above and beyond in taking care of us!! The burgers were amazing!! All local meat? I am all in on that! Then the beer, I tried a Blueberry Chocolate Stout that was amazing in it's dance on the tastebuds! The cheesecake? That was a splurge that we don't take in very often but we split a piece because of the baker and we just had to know how amazing that was after the best burgers! If you two are ever in Wisconsin.....lets' see if our service, food and beer is as amazing as yours!! Thank you for the hospitality, the visit, it truly made our trip out!! See you next time!

All America burger cooked a perfect medium as requested. Hand cut fries and a side of house made Mac n Cheese with all its multi cheese goodness!

The main complaint I have is with the older woman waitress. She is extremely rude and has a lousy attitude for absolutely no reason. The other notable complaint is that if you’re dining in the winter, it is absolutely freezing inside. Especially if you’re sitting at the tables toward the front of the building. The food is always great but after giving this waitress multiple opportunities to redeem herself I can officially say I will not be returning.

The bite me burger was excellent. But the mac and cheese I ordered with it was off the charts. We also had the slopper which was very good. Saturday night waiting times can be lengthy. Typically you're waiting for your food more than a table. Still thoroughly enjoyable.
