Stopped by Chuds for lunch when visiting the town over the weekend. The food was amazing - the Chicago Dog was properly messy and absolutely perfect and my friend loved her gyro. And the side salad was probably one of the bests I've had - good lettuce, actual cucumbers and tomatos in it, not just some icebug with shaved carrots like you typically see these days. And the service was fantastic, the owner (I think?) clearly cared a lot about their food and was great at giving...
The REAL Chicago style pizza… “tavern style”… square cut, thin, and crispy… right here in Westcliffe! The gang’s all from Chicago, so they know their stuff. You’ll see the Hawks stuff from the moment you enter. Only pizza delivery (to my knowledge) in the Valley. Love their fried pickles and cheese balls as well. Wait staff can be a little out of their depth sometimes when it’s busy, but they’re good people. Definitely recommend a stop in. Constructive criticism...
We stopped here on the way to Trinidad, and were very pleased with the food and service. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and talked to us a while. The beef sandwich was 10/10!!
