Stopped in for a breakfast burrito on my way through town and it is delicious. It Could use less potatoes, but it’s delicious nonetheless. The green chili is about perfect.The woman working the kitchen was amazingly efficient as well as funny and made for a great experience just passing through. Coffee is good as well, and the handmade raspberry turnover is unstoppable.

If happiness could be wrapped in foil and handed across a counter, it would look exactly like a Stage Stop breakfast sandwich. These things are so good, I’m pretty sure they’re the reason the sun rises over Westcliffe every morning.
The bacon is crisp, the eggs are fluffy, and the cheese… oh the cheese… it’s like it went to finishing school just to learn how to melt with class. I swear these sandwiches could solve world peace.
By the time I took my last bite, I was already plotting excuses to come back.
If you’re passing through Westcliffe and don’t stop for one, that’s not a road trip, that’s just poor life choices.

$ 12+ for a strawberry shake and it doesn’t even say that in their menu….what a rip off. Will not be spending any of my money here!

We stopped in twice in the past week to grab breakfast. Each time they didn't have any biscuits. 1st time we left and went down the street. Yesterday we stayed and ate. Again out of biscuits. Our food was average. Sausage patty on my breakfast sandwich was half the size of the sandwich. Our lattes were mostly floth and 1/2 coffee. Younger ladies working were not welcoming to us and other patrons. Service was slow. Outdoor seating has great views of the mountains and of the town!

Stopped in yesterday and it was really nice to grab a soft serve ice cream on a hot day. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Just a heads up — the hours listed on Maps aren’t correct. The staff told me they’re actually open until 5 PM daily, not 1 PM.

Poached eggs require a firm white and a runny yolk. Also their service is quite slow when busy. Nice patio area to relax. Quite expensive for a standard fair and pre-made foods.
