Waitress could have smiled more and could have had a better attitude especially as a waitress, if you don't like your job find a different job. Then 1 of the waitress has her kids behinde the counter and trying to keep them from being seen. I understand there could be a reason why she has them here, but at work it's not what a customer wants to see. Took over half a hour to get our food. The place was nearly empty and the cook was very slow. The food is not as good as it used to be, ordered the Texas steer burger which was supposed to come with sautéed onions, mushrooms and gravy. But it only came with the mushrooms and gravy. The salad bar is gone, still ordered a side salad ranch dressing and it showed up with some other dressing.... When asked about the ranch I was told they where out, so why not ask instead of bringing out whatever. The floors was sticky. Country pride has gone far down hill and will be the last time I stop in here...

Ordered the Philly Cheese steak Omelette. Food was delicious and definitely not too pricey. Also got a large orange juice and Tapatío and ketchup to add flavor to my food. Will definitely come back soon.Stuck here for a 34 reset.

Is it possible to give zero stars?!!?! Attempted to have lunch there for our 30 minute trucking break. At the 45 minute mark, we still didn’t have any food! We watched orders sitting in the window for over ten minutes with no one serving them. Very few customers in the restaurant so it wasn’t like the kitchen or wait staff were ready. Finally gave up and walked out. Don’t waste your time here if you want to get a meal

Waited over 45 minutes for our meal and NOTHING!! No attempt by the server to check on us or explain why it was taking so long. The restaurant was not busy! Orders for other people sitting in the window for 10+ minutes and neither server delivers them to those customers. Get your act together or just close the place down. You wasted our valuable time and we still didn’t get lunch!

Nice and friendly staff, at first only one person taking orders, but it didn't bother me, she was adamant clear that she was by herself. Food was great, not a bad experience. Enjoyed having to slow down for once.

Took almost a half hour to get our food.The place was nearly empty and the cook was very slow.The food is not as good as it used to be. The salad bar is gone....and now they are only open til 8 pm.Country pride has gone far down the hill... Sad.

A bit busy when I went inside, but I call that a good sign. The food was good (the club sandwich), as was the peanut butter/chocolate cake. Not much for seating when they've closed the main area, but the service was good.

We entered to find 4 different people in front of us. Waited 5mins before we were all seated. Tables and counter dirty. First time I've been in a restaurant and nobody's eating. There was already five tables and three people at counter and no one's eating. We left after our waitress took an order from a gentleman that came in 15min after us a seated himself. Pray for our truckers

Wasn't very busy. Still had trouble getting service. The food was very good however. My last 2 times there i wouldn't recommend this stop if your clock is running unless you know you have the time.

Great food, superlative service and super friendly staff!! Pancakes reminded me of my Mama's! Chocolate chip!Would recommend to everyone from locals to over the road semi tractor drivers!!!

The server brought our drinks. We asked for silverware and straws. At least 10-15 minutes passed and still neither. We really needed something to stir our coffee with, my finger wasn't am option. Of course, by the time she brought the silverware and straws, I could have used my finger since the coffee had cooled off a lot.When our meals arrived, a meal we had ordered before, my hubby asked where the bread was. She went in search of the bread. When he tasted the green beans, they were cold. Refrigerator cold. I flagged her down and told her about our green beans. She took our plates back and finally brought back our meals with everything as it should be. She was slow coming to clear the table.We had eaten here a few times before and they have gone downhill but this was definitely the worst time. She was leaving at the end of her shift and asked us to cash out, even if we weren't quite ready to leave. I asked for a refill on my soda. She said yes, of course, but I never saw a refill. The other 2 servers totally ignored us after she left. I don't understand why restaurants ask you to pay when someone is leaving and then ignore you completely once they are gone.Our server also complained loudly about her lack of tips that day I only gave her the 20% because I knew she was waiting on us and coming right back to get it. I should not have because that was so not the service or food we deserved. I should have cut her tip and told her just as loudly why her tips might not have been what she was expecting. I am sorry but you have to work for tips, they don't just happen! Unless you get an idiot customer like me!I know they are probably short staffed like many restaurants during COVID but they have closed down seating in 2/3 of the restaurant to force everyone to sit close together, that's if they let you sit to eat at all. They often offer to go service only. This is a truck stop. If I was a truck driver, I would much rather be given the chance to sit at a table and relax instead of talking my food back out into the truck when I spend so much of my time, just my opinion.I don't know if we will be going back after this last visit!

I came here because it was on my way to my destination. Only one area was open; the rest of the restaurant was closed off. Not sure if it was the pandemic, or lack of employees. It appeared they had 1 wait staff and 1 cook. The service was slow because of this. I ordered the fish basket and fries; it came in a skillet. They said they had no baskets. Ice and soda machines were also down; had to go to truck stop next door to get ice. To make matters worse; my credit card was denied for no reason. I won't be coming back here again.

The place was clean . They weren't too crowded. We were waited on eight away . The meal was cooked as we requested. It was plentiful . We got filled up . Our waitress was friendly and took good care of us . The coffee was hot . The breakfast was tasty. It was cooked to perfection . I would recommend and was happy they open .

The food was terrible I have never had pancakes like this in my life my 10 year old can make better pancakes and coffee then what I had today my stomach is upset now worst Decision of my life to eat here.
