I paid $17.99 for the Fat Shack sandwich and genuinely feel like I got scammed.
On paper it sounds insane in a good way. Cheesesteak meat, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, fries, sauce, all stuffed into one sandwich. It should be over the top and amazing. Instead it was just a greasy pile of low quality ingredients smashed together. The meat was bland, the fried stuff tasted like it had been sitting around, the fries were soggy, and nothing had any real flavor. The only thing I could actually taste was the sauce they absolutely smothered it in. Take away the sauce and there is basically nothing there.
It was heavy without being satisfying. Messy without being good. Just a giant brick of mediocre food. For nearly twenty bucks I expected something memorable. This was memorable for the wrong reasons.
Not even remotely worth the price. And if you left a glowing review for this sandwich, I have to assume you were high as a kite when you ate it.

Great staff and great place to have lunch! Haven't had Fat Shack almost 4 years when I was in Seattle so when I was in Denver and saw Fat Shack was here I had to get them again 4 years later and they are still GOOOOODT
We love this place, but how difficult is it to do your job these day's. I worked fast food and not that this is remotely the same as fat shack at 10:40 @ night. I always mad sure every bag got their condiments, all their food & drinks, deserts, and napkins in the bag. It's not rocket science I don't mean for this to sound rude, but how hard is it to read a list and fill a bag? Anyways no cheesecake bites. This is happening entirely too much All around the Denver metro area. An It's frustrating and exhausting to call all these places for the messed up order. I'm personally stretched thin and run constantly and forget to check my damn food before I leave. Which isn't the point of this story.
Then there was a Hispanic man who was trying to start a fight with my children's dad while we were waiting in the car. He made me feel uncomfortable seeing him looking at me in my vechile passing by numerous time's. You just don't know these days. Thankfully nothing came about the situation, but the manager should of done more in my personal opinion. It's sad to see how bad Arvada is these days.
My only other complaint is the lfillings tasted like freezer burnt. I do love fat shack and the one in Thornton is definitely better! Just tighten it up guys.

Came in an hour before close and they honestly seemed too high to understand our order. My husband is a vetern and asked about the sign on the door that said vets get a half sandwich and they just looked at him like he was stupid and had no idea what he was talking about. As someone who has been a regular at the downtown location, I won't be coming back to this one.
