Horrible Service. I attempted to drop in for lunch. Waited at the end of a line for 10 minutes with about 15 other people in front of me. The line did not move an inch in those 10 minutes. If I had waited longer I would have been there waiting my entire lunch break. There appeared to be a single employee working the line while the rest of the staff was focused on doordash and take out orders. Don't bother dropping in I guess.
Embarrassing service. I've never had an experience this poor at any other fast casual in the area.

Adam is the best! He is always friendly, pleasant, and helpful. He provides top-notch customer service and is a real asset to illegal Pete's! As you can see in the photo, he also serves a beautifully prepared dish.

The bald middle aged bartender is incredibly rude. He’s just completely abrasive to every customer and acts like it’s an annoyance to make a house marg. The other female bartender that works at night is the only reason I come back, she’s incredibly kind and personable. Fire the grumpy old man, he sucks!

Be prepared to pay a lot of $$ for a small amount of food. Your choice does not even include a protein (every protein is extra) . $17.37 for a single burrito. Qdoba is better tasting and more affordable!

Besides the great food, I think the best thing about this location are the people! I love that they have vegan options and their vegan green chili is the best! Thank you kind sir who customized my hand held burrito this morning and was so kind to me, you rock! Highly recommend this location for your next meal or catering needs.

Ordered take out for the first time. Really looking forward to new venue in wheat ridge. Two items we ordered were not included, although we were charged for them. Going to call. The burrito was fine but had little flavor or spice. This is Mexican food!!!

I ordered catering for an event, and had such a great experience. Online ordering was a piece of cake, and my order was ready on time. They helped me load everything into my car, and when I got to the venue and unloaded, I was so impressed with how organized everything was. Everybody raved about the food, and they even included chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I always enjoy ordering from Illegal Pete's for lunch, but now I am a huge fan of the catering too.
Also, thanks to the friendly employee who complimented my car. It made my day. :)

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s always a very, very long way, the employees are doing amazing but management is failing this location. I would not want to be an employee here.
