New Canton needs a new cook. Not sure how you can screw up fried rice.

I was quite skeptical upon seeing the reviews at first. A lot of 1 star and unhappy reviews. When I actually got a chance to go to the resturant, I did not regret it one bit. I ordered the Chicken Lomein and the Hot & Sour soup. The Chicken Lomein was absolutely tasty, not too bland or salty. Just the right amount for satisfaction. The Hot & Sour soup did not disapoint. It had good texture and good taste. The salty umnami flavor combined with a suttle sour taste. The cost in total was a banger for a buck. The dinner size lomein portion was absoulutly large. All that for about 17-18 dollars. This is highly underated resturant, I would 10/10 come back again!

Have eaten New Canton for an incredibly long time (15 years) and something has happened to them. Ordered take out and the food was basically not edible. Pad Thai was definitely not pad thai and the fried rice was completely different as well. Sad that this long time wheat ridge establishment has changed so much.

Sesame chicken was AMAZING;
Szechuan chicken - not so much. Had no taste whatsoever.
Hot-n-sour soup was alright, Egg drop soup was good though.

This place had the worst chinese food I have ever had. I ordered a sweet & sour chicken. They took the leftovers and put them back in the fryer. The meat was all dried out. And the coating on the outside was soggy. I called to complain and they didn't offer to do anything. It was a $70.00 meal.

Been eating here for years, the last year or 2 the quality has tanked. The last order of Kung pow beef was really bland. I've had spicier oatmeal.
We’ve dined at New Canton for maybe a year now. Historically, their food has been real good, large portions and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, tonight, meal was a disaster. The Pad Tai was made with a red Italian sauce. ???? Don’t know what that’s about. My wife’s cashew beef looked beautiful, but lacked flavor. ???? Very disappointed!

My family has been ordering from here for as long as they have been open. It is our go to “Chinese” food place in the neighborhood and that’s not changing anytime soon.
